Set up a D2 bot to run 24/7 and make tons of forum gold to buy everything you could possibly need in POE.

It takes literally no effort for majority of the losers on D2JSP to get rich in forum gold and buy everything they need for POE.

And then it's also work to clean your bots and sell all the shit. I doubt many people are doing this anymore, it's a nuisance.

LOL, obviously you do not play D2 ladders. There are still quite a few people playing the game and it doesn't take more than 3 bots to make a good chunk of forum gold. Go check out the D2 for sale/trade section and you will see how active it is still. Especially at the start of a new ladder season.

It's intended design. It's not a bug. I doubt it will be changed even during release. Just as it's intended design that caustic flasks kill you if you don't have enough life to use them.

Saying 'it's beta' for an obviously intended design choice is a poor excuse at best.
