what do you think about Diablo3

I can't wait for D3 to be released so that those who want to play it go away and stay gone.

Ever hopeful for this game if they kept all the "Diabloness" then it will be a smash. However if the WoW tainted Blizzard trys to take a new direction I think people will play it but true fans may not be so accepting.

i cant wait for the game and every time i hear criticism about the game that hasnt been played by anyone it disappoints me that, that is the gaming community.. that we simply judge something before we even see it in play or how it works.. i myself give everything a try before dissing it, you cant stay wrapped up in a coon cage.

D3 will be a good game but not as awesome as 1&2. many people complain about the changes. I think most if the people had too high expactations about d3, something like it could be like d2. but anyway i will buy it.

This is strictly my opinion, I don't mean to offend anyone by this post. And if you don't agree with me just stop reading this post. Lol.
Absolutely everything about Diablo 3 is AMAZING... Except: 1) Always online to play(even single player) - this is ridiculous, although I understand that they want to prevent modding, botting, and hacking, but this is an extermely important feature to all those die-hard Diablo veterans out there(not to mention people who dont have a reliable internet connection, or no internet connection at all.) I know Im not the only one who feels this way. 2) No LAN support - For all you kids out there that don't know what this is.. Shame on you, Google it =P Just kidding, its where you hook computers together via ethernet cable/switch. Its the old-school way to play together with your friends. Now today, I literally can't get any of my friends to come over to my house to play video games (or have LAN parties). They just say, "Let's just play over the internet" - Hey, that's ok, but its so fun to sit down with your buddies and eat some pizza and drink beer late hours into the night while playing next to each other. You know, like people used to do in the past, hang out, next to each other. This is something playing over the internet doesn't provide. But I guess my friends can still come over and we can play on the internet together, =p 3) Real Money Auction House - not sure on this one.. we'll see after a few months after realease, Not too stoked about pay-to-win, we cater to this "new generation" of children gamers that no longer feel the need to work hard and grind for anything. I used to do 150 magic find runs a day in the summer to find items to make new characters, my hard work payed off. If I found something I didn't need, I would sit in trade games for hours trying to get what I did need, but hey, I still magic found in those games. But all companies out there would gladly make this "catering-pay-to-win" option available for money, cuz that's all that matters anymore. Isn't it? But hey, I can still use the in game gold auction house... But I'm still forced to play with all the people who buy their own gear on the real money auction house... Lol, FAIL. 4) No Skill points - Honestly? WTF. Dumbest thing I have ever heard of. I dont want a game that's dumbed down to meet the playing ability of all audiences(this "new generation of gamers" or, kids). When I was younger and played games, I learned the hard way. You mess up a build, you learn, you don't do it again. This takes a whole lot of customization out of the game! And I don't care what the BLIZZ DEVS say in defense in their arguments. You take out skill points - youve already lost all the possible builds, AND all the bad ones that make this game so fun and replayable! If I mess up on a build, I re-roll another char and try something new. Now, literally, no one needs to make more than one of each class - Think about it. 5) No Stat points - This I am more understanding of, but still, I feel they're important "parts" of all characters and gameplay. You can have more life, more strength, or more mana - ITS YOUR CHOICE, mess up your skill points, make good builds, make bad builds! It's the fun of the game! But hey, not anymore. Now skill points are also gone, just like many of the above aspects of most video games made today... But I always have to remind myself, dont diss or complain until you've played the game. So, hey, I might be wrong! This game could still be fun WITHOUT all of the above features! But maybe not as interesting, or replayable... Although, I feel that Diablo 3's EPIC Lore and Quests will save the game from total Failure. (Love the Lore by the way. I've read all the books, they're amazing). Again, this is strictly my opinion, I don't mean to offend anyone by this post, just venting. On the other hand, Path of Exile has an extensive skill tree system, that's quite amazing. Not sure if you can respec either, which is AWESOME! Thanks for listening =) Nastydude Last edited by LandonW1989#0525 on Sep 2, 2011, 1:28:49 AM

" This is really the suck part. When you had different build made with skill point you had for exemple a fire sorceress or a cold one ect Now since there are no skill point all sorc will have the same skill and be equally powerfull, exept for the items you are wearing... how sad! |

I was really excited at first, but now I've lost my interest in it, I will buy it either way without doubt, though my biggest disappointment is classes, specially changing amazon to demon hunter, and Paladin for a MONK???

I dont like the art design and that i cant give skillpoints anymore. But I will try out the game for sure. I dont wanna judge about a game, that isnt released yet.
