if you don't care about competitive or meaningful pvp then you will prob like diablo3.

I almost never PvP in Diablo 2.
You talk like Diablo 2 had huge PvP ladders, PvP rewards, PvP arenas.... It did not have any of those. You could PvP, but that's all.
if you want competitive PvP play some MOBA games, or counterstrike etc.
Diablo 3, Path of exile, Torchlight 2 etc are not in the e-sport genre.

if you like paying to win

Pay to win? in a PvE game? With level restrictions on items? You buy a level 60 item at level 1 and then you win? Wrong.
So someone bought a level 60 character, so what? He skipped many hours of fun. WHy u care?

Trade was almost only way to get the rarest items.
So trade is very important, see?
You need to trade.
If you dont like the real money AH, there is gold AH.

I will spend 0$ on RMAH since you can put your first few items up for sale for free, and more up after that for free with weekly vouchers, there's no need to spend money to buy stuff from the RMAH if you play the AH well enough. A game within the game.

Maybe I will even EARN money from the RMAH, if I find a rare crafting recipe for example.

Did you copy your rant from the other ignorants who rant about everything for attention or something?

you mad they put anti-pk features in D3? PK is competitive PvP? I will hunt your ears in D3.

All the RMAH did was cut out the little guys, a move i'm surprised took blizzard this long to do, kinda like blizzard selling their own gold in WoW. So you rather someone go through a 3rd party (probably pay more) than to just get it from the producer itself?

At first I thought "RMAH...what are they serious" not only does RMAH finally cut out third-parties but they also let you make some $ for your time... The RMAH is literally what are going to keep players playing D3 for more time than it deserves. Will this effect me? Nope, I just want to shoot arrows at stuff for a little bit of time and be on my way.

PvP will be fixed as usual with blizzard, PvP is also never on their top priority list. Let's just say D3 won't be apart of the virtual league.

All of the gameplay trailers look really slow, I don't like the real money auction house one bit, and the new skill orb system looks significantly worse than the old system it tried to improve.

Well i dont really like the money action house either but that's a very nice subtile
way to get cash from every transaction wich are made from their ah.

On my part i rather like that then micro transaction. My 2 cent of course...
I was pretty excited for D3, but a few decisions really soured me on it. I'm not a fan of a real-cash AH, and think it'll marginalize any AH that uses in-game currency instead.

I'm also hesitant to buy any game that requires an always-online DRM component. If I drop $60 on a product, I should damn well be able be able to play it if my internet connection drops.

good point but all game are going that direction now, think about it ... you buy a game that required steam, yes you can play offline but when steam dont work neither is your game.so its never yours to keep.
Diablo 3 looks aesthetically gorgeous and incredible gameplay-wise. I think its going to be a 10/10.

D2 had 3rd party AH's. Only difference is this time you wont get scammed.

You have been online 99.9% of the time since 2000 anyways...

World of Warcraft 2.0.

Deal with it. It's true.
My little tribute to Diablo 1 aka why Diablo 3 is the worst part of the series.
