I've got the DVD called Rambling Man. It tells the story of Charlie Haden. If you get a chance to see it, it's worth it.

And, isn't sanity really just a one-trick pony anyway? I mean all you get is one trick, rational thinking, but when you're good and crazy, oooh, oooh, oooh, the sky is the limit - The Tick
A lot of truly fantastic guitarists have been mentioned. Hats off to whoever mentioned Shawn Lane. I fucking love that guy.

However, I can't believe nobody has mentioned:

Michael Hedges

The most beastly acoustic shredder to ever grace the guitar. Without Hedges, copycats like Andy Mckee would never exist.

It's too bad he died. Car crash.

I'll look for it, thanks.

I also recommend Standing in the Shadows of Motown. For anyone who enjoys music and hasn't seen it, it's definitely worth checking out.

I should probably have found and linked this when mentioning Blotted Science, sorry, but I have to. I didn't even know.

He was mentioned earlier with the Ziltoid the Omniscient record.

Looking at the other videos, I can see this guy really has a since of humor.

Still a whole bunch of really great guitarists haven't been mentioned, which is probably understandable as some would even be considered obvious.

Anyway, Mattias IA Eklundh, no idea how famous he is and I'm not exactly a fan either but I can't deny that some of the stuff I heard was very impressive. It was, for the lack of better terms, quirky and far-reaching, at the very least. If you're into somewhat bizarre guitar it's probably worth a try.

Probably Guitar Hero 2. It was still a really fresh idea and hadn't been milked to death yet.
