Given that there's no "money system" in PoE, how do we know prices of items..?

Prices on rare rings/amulets are sorta tricky.

Yeah, had a few pretty nice ones that I've been trying to get a price check on for a while now, both in game and on the price check forums(which were a good idea but no one replies there to anything, so in practice they seem almost useless). Any ideas?

Seems like they would be especially nice for a lightning strike build.

The 2 elemental dmg% rings are decent. The others aren't worth much, maybe 1-2 chaos for the citrine amulet. The sapphire ring is garbage, vendor it in a combo especially if its item level 60.

For those 2 elemental % rings you could get at least 1gcp each for.

Thanks, had hoped they might be worth more, but I'll probably be making a build that can use them at some point anyway, so will just keep them.

Hey guys,
Just started playing, I want to sell some of my items but 1. There's no marketplace 2. There's no "money system". I know that those orbs or fragments are used as currency, but to me its just so peculiar. I can't sell my items and even if I do, I surely know that I will be ripped off.

Thanks guys

Do what everybody does. Selling? Ask outrageous prices. Buying? Make pathetic offers.
and where exactly is the difference to a "gold"-system?

here I help you: just imagine
Alteration/Chromatic = 120 Gold
Alch/fusing/scouring/blessing = 1000 Gold
Chaos = 2400 Gold
Regal = 3400 Gold
Exalted = 120000 Gold

average Gold from vendoring an Item = 40 Gold

any better now? I hope you know how to price your items now ;)
