Lich Queen Build (Acrobatics/Ranger/Facebreaker/Melee)

Fixed end game full build so you are not completely INT deficient, and can get by with mediocre gear and survive while playing full Evasion and Frenzy (I guess this is what you prefer?). You will get blown up later in Onslaught with your original build.

Haters hate because they try to play exactly what "top players" do and they fail at it. They hate the success of free thinkers because their hive mind has been outsmarted. I have more respect for someone who challenges himself/herself to play a character that needs super attention to detail on Standard than someone who builds a cookie-cutter "can't die" build on Hardcore. Not all of us want to restart just because a fun build can die more easily than a boring ass build.

I have full confidence in your ability to do maps, as you will level and improve what needs to be improved.

If we all just build life/armor or CI builds how is GGG going to learn to fix anything else? I feel like they nerfed life, not because it was OP (it was), but because they wanted us to test something else. We are all beta testers after all.

That's the real point , everything or almost is doable in Standard including glasscanon build like this one and most builds must be really fun. You must just forget to go beyond the lvl 85 or so.

so i like cooking and a guy who has made a pancake for the first time in his life is giving advices on how people should cook, why should i listen to him instead of the millons of youtube video about cooking (which all are better than him), or the other millons of recipes outhere.

Yup, he's right, Fun in a game is Irrelevant. Everyone should just start stacking life now or quit, obviously your only two options. And you better do it in Hardcore or you are just playing the game wrong. Fun to play doesn't matter, nothing to see here people.

THE WHOLE FUCKING POINT IS TO GET THIS GAME BALANCED. If a build kicks ass for 70 levels then hits a brick wall the game is broken. It's not irrelevant, it's 100% relevant if his build hits said wall on maps. I'm not saying you shouldn't have a clear difficulty increase when you get to each new level of maps, but my goodness people we shouldn't be arguing that the only way to play this game is to stack life still. It would be one thing if he built a complete glass cannon, but he has used what should be a VIABLE defense type, it's not his fault if evasion makes you a glass cannon.

Not everything needs to absorb 10 hits and do 100k dps. Try breaking away from the mold every once in a while, you may actually discover what fun is.

And yes, I thank him for playing on Standard so he can die, make tweaks and try again. Not everyone has hundreds of hours to tweak one build by starting over and over. Remember we are testing. If you aren't trying new things you are barely doing your job.

Impossible to solo 74-77 maps with that build.

1 affix life potions, granite flasks with no % armor (or evasion), quicksilver flasks with no movement speed.

The problem is not that you don´t have currency. You lack of metagame knowledge, that people who has played for months already have. There are many things flawed about your build and gear but you would not understand because you lack of game experience.

Yea playing 2 hours a day can be an excuse for being ignorant of the fact that you can have 2 affixes on a life potion, come on it took us what? 1 month to figure this out, and even after we figured this out we had to find the rare augmentation orb needed for this.

Many people like this thread because its human nature to go for the underdog, in this case evasion, this game is mostly about customization and people like to feel special, even if they end up building a sparker or discharger, they would never cheer for a thread of this kind, but when someone talk about a build with 800 life and high evasion they want to praise the one trying to break the status quo. (even when the build is flawed, weak, unefective, dies easily)

Fun fact for those saying Evasion doesn't work in high level maps: Neonspyder made an acrobatics evasion ranger and got it to level 90 in a 1-month race.

UPDATE:

After hitting 69 this morning before heading to bed, (on vacation yay) it is time to start upgrading items and farming. Currently I am able to faceroll majority of maps and I believe it is time to start gearing for higher maps.

Now keep in mind I AM NOT USING ANY AURA'S AND I DO NOT HAVE SECOND AFFIXES ON MY FLASKS till now...


There is a reason for this:

I purposely gimped my character in from having aura's and second affixes on flasks because I did not want to base my gear off of them. I wanted a better understanding on how evasion is working on my build and by having these aura's and second effects omitted I am not masking the potential of build.

So at level 69 amazingly not using any aura's and second affixes on flasks; still facerolling content.

I am currently researching all the affixes on flasks possibilities but if you have recommendation please let me know. In addition trying to figure out at this moment which aura's will help me tremendously.

So far right now I am farming docks quickly and researching some unique items. Also keep in mind I started this build right as new updates are being implemented and there is likely hood that Chris has mentioned changes may come to evasion and some more tweaking of the ranger tree.
