Same here, i found 2 Exas a period of 1 Hour 1 week ago.

Increasing drop rates by sane amounts (even +100%) isn't going to encourage people to use more of the higher currencies because... well... crafting is gambling with low odds of winning in PoE right?

so, increasing the drop rate is very likely to increase amount of hoarding: it basically accelerates the process by which hoarders obtain currency.

Increasing drop rates should be done to make certain game play styles more viable (e.g. self found), not to try change hoarding habits. Hoarding habits are only likely to change if true crafting is introduced.

btw, incresing drop rates, now that the concept of "exalt == gold bullion, used sollely for trading" is firmly nailed into the subconcious of every player, would not change anything. 99% of people would hoard them, because that is what we are supposed to do.

Using exalts & eternals for rolling thorns & decreased attrib. req.,.. yea sure Ill do that... :D

I haven't even found that many on any league combinet. I think the total combined total would be around 4-5. And I always play with IIQ, l play 20-60 rare maps a day.

I still won't feel bad, I'm happy for your luck ^^ That's got to be some kind of an achievement.

Got my friend to play PoE and he found 2 exalted orbs before cruel a3, That might spoil the guy a bit.
I'll just add my current gear to my shop thread, so people could find me some upgrades...

Dunno if this has been mentioned b4, but perhaps, they should adopt a system where you could use more than one orb to craft and have it increase the chance of it turning out positive.

like i dunno, 10% chance per extra orb used for the result to be better..
This probably should still be capped to avoid the 100% chance..
People who want to gamble one orb at a time still can, and those that prefere a more reliable crafting system would more than likely use the money sync crafting more..

My highest lvl so far is 41, so I havn't played that much yet, but, So far I'm not too fussed about orb drops, it's the lack of wow (not the game) equip drops more..
Going 10 odd levels without a very obvious upgrade, It's yawn factor..
Even if it's not for my main, It would make me want to play alts, or create them..
Thats exactly what D2 drops did for me..

So yes GGG, in a way you want to pop out the items for the first say 60 odd levels so hard that they become vendor trash after use and get removed from the economy as worthless.. Bit like disposable lighters..

I've played considerably more than that in Onslaught league and had my first exhalt drop this morning at about 4am. About time too!! (levels 76 / 66 / multiple 60's and tons of 40-50's)

Im not surprised to hear no ex has dropped in only 201 levels.

I've had more exhalts drop in races for me than in Onslaught league :<
