There are tons of ways you can make elemental hit viable as a primary attack for a ranged build. You can use LMP or GMP/elemental prolifieration/etc. It would work as a defensive skill too because of all the mob's you'll be freezing. You could run 2 separate links for the skill, one optimized for crowd control, and another link optimized for single target DPS. Most archers prefer frenzy for single target DPS, but a proper build could do just as much or more DPS with elemental hit. skeletons only build is strong btw, hardly worth a mention in this thread. queens decree + bringer of rain and just faceroll everything. pop vaal summon skelly's for extra speed.
