Ranger changes, for me were garbage, GGG CHALLENGE

Mana for bow users is biggest problem. If use nodes with mana and mana reg you will get nothing back. Just waste your nodes.
There must be buff for mana, bcs with all near ranger mana/mana reg you will get not even half how you need to. It's a joke how hard needed mana for ranger/bow players.

Must have more mana/mana reg per nodes, then now.

I dont understand. It is not like my build radically changed from pre buff to tree to post buff to tree.

My character is most certainly speced with a large amount of mana-management present.

Mana was a huge issue for rangers ... and mana is still a huge issue for rangers.
Atleast duelists can get the 5-10% reduced mana cost nodes that pepper their area of the tree.

This.

Mana rly big problem IF you dont want to take BM.
Test with new patch and Ranger, just 3L and no mana, but i take Geayzer + other big nodes as this with mana/mana reg + int + gear with mana and reg... still low mana. RLy.
Ranger changes buffed my duelist.

IR changes nerfed my duelist.

Dunno if I should be happy or sad.

The key is know how strong your mana supply is and to be sensible with the supports. A fully tricked-out 6l Lightning Arrow or whatever is very powerful, so it's supposed to be difficult to sustain. Don't throw in supports like Chain until you can handle it; try using cheaper but still powerful supports, like Pierce.

You can get high mana regen with any class if you are prepared to invest and travel across the tree. That said, I agree the Ranger probably has the weakest skill cost management at the moment (the Shadow isn't great either, but at least he is closer to the Witch area). She is far from the alternate resource keystones (EB and BM), far from the good mana/mana regen nodes in the Witch and Templar areas, and far from the reduced mana cost nodes that are found in the Strength part of the tree.
