Don't even think twice bout it, its a scam and when the sails stops they will take all your account information and delete/remove everything u had there.
If it's not directly from GGG it's not worth the while. Yeah and people complain they got their accounts "hacked", what a groundslamming revelation! Last edited by Zequron#4753 on Jul 9, 2013, 6:43:13 PM

I'll be waiting for official public tabs from GGG along with offline trading.
There has to be a low point where some people stop complaining because it's just not worth it, and I have yet to see it. - Squeakypaw, 2013

I got a answer from GGG for my mail.
They said they won't improve the api and the public stash an the near future because they have a lot of other things to do. So the StashViewer will still need the login. Also GGG said nothing against this project. |

" How is the safety of user data guaranteed though, they could always be hacked this way. There will be so many people making threads they got hacked and claim they didn't do anything wrong. That's how it goes. |

I understand that.
Im still thinking of another solution to get 100% security. What do you think of a little java tool running on your pc, it uses the login session of the original site (if you are logged in) and creats the the stash link for you. This way no login is required. Edit: This way its like a snapshot of your current stash. If you want to update it, you have to rerun the tool or click a refresh button... Last edited by Crypto90#7134 on Jul 23, 2013, 3:53:51 AM

" The PoE site does NOT have functionality for viewing other people's stashes, which is what THIS program does. Why is it so difficult for so many people to understand such a simple concept? |

TLDR version: It is not worth the risk to your PC's security to install Sun JAVA. DO NOT DO IT.
I would caution anyone fooling with this to do your research and do be aware that JAVA is among the highest risk systems you can install on a PC. If you are silly enough to look into this and just have to run it, be damn sure you are using the very latest version of Java and keep that GD thing patched as JAVA has been a security nightmare for years. Sun systems is VERY slow in keeping up with known exploits, also whenever you do upgrade to a new version of JAVA it conveniently leaves old versions on your system. Unless your a more savvy PC user you would never know that. Don't believe me? Go do some Google searches or Bing , whatever. Find some sites like Secunia and read up on bulletins regarding the mess JAVA is. I tell people as I've learned from security focused folk WITH A CLUE, only run JAVA if you absolutely have to for some mission critical operation and then cross your legs and pray. For most PC users cruising the internet there is no valid reason to do a JAVA install IN LIGHT OF THE MASSIVE security issues with that language platform and Suns shitty updating. Not, this rambling post does not apply to Java Script in your browsers , that is a different beast with its own host of issues but not the far more serious ones posed by JAVA. As afinal note. I have no clue if this guys app is legit or not or if it does any nastiness or not. That is not the main issue. The issue is just having JAVA on a system opens you to a night mare mess of exploits. The typical idiot running a typical PC on the net is already host to a mess of exploits given most idiots dont' keep patched systems. Even if they do, you are host to tons of potential exploits within browser X or app B or OP system Y. JAVA is just a extra shitload you do not need. Think, Adobe systems but only worse. Yes, they are that bad. Last edited by Buzi#3871 on Jul 24, 2013, 2:25:44 PM
