" It was like 'colour tech, wow let's use them'. It got wayyyy out of hand later in the game, day-glow pinks ftw. Casually casual.

I grew up playing a lot of Sword of Fargoal which came out in 1982 on the Vic 20, then later on the C64. Also logged a ton of hours playing Bard's Tale 2 circa 1986.
Then in 1988, Pool of Radiance and the sequels spawned afterwards... Curse of the Azure Bonds (1989), Secret of the Silver Blades (1990), Pools of Darkness (1991), etc... IGN: _Firebitch Last edited by Firebrand76#1731 on Jul 2, 2013, 10:02:24 AM

I'm surprised no one mentioned MUDs, I started in jr high and spent a lot of high school and college "partying" (grouping in MUDs).

" I played Dragon Realms for awhile (http://www.play.net/dr/), my first MUD was one called Age of the Throne, but I'm unable to find the website for it anymore. |

I'm a 32 yr old father of two and am looking forward to one day being a great gaming role model to my kids like some of you people clearly are! :D
My wife, however, will clearly be unimpressed. Ah well. | |
