They would have to have the money and resources for a completely separate dev team to do it. GGG doesn't have 1,000's of employees and millions upon millions of dollars like Blizzard.

Ok I'm gonna go ahead and put my to cents in here. For all [Removed by Support] that think you know everything there is to know about consoles, and their software. Please stop then Google what you think you know before saying another word. I'm betting most of [Removed by Support] that think you know everything to know about consoles don't even own one. That there alone tells me how much [Removed by Support]. I mean if you take a second to look back at what gaming (CONSOLE) companies have done, and how far they come you wouldn't have a say in any matter of console gaming what so ever. Oh also i could care less you hate on what i typed that just proves my point on how much intelligence there is on this forum.

Also keep in mind that D3 has been developed with consoles in mind from the beginning. GGG probably never intended to bring PoE on consoles so they made it as a PC only game which makes it much harder to port.
GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.
