PATH OF EXILE ON PS3/PS4

how about they fix the pc one first....lol
It's so hilarious observing the divide between an innocent poster like the OP, and the "PC master race" who jumps on him.

PoE simply wouldn't work on a console. The game has way too many buttons and an interface that wouldn't work well with a controller. They would have to modify it and "dumb it down" like they did with D3's console release.

But with x86 and Sony's embrace of Indie/smaller developers, who knows? Small developers no longer need to pay to update games. Maybe we will see games in the future on PS4 that require mouse+keyboard. PoE could pave the way ;)

Most people in here don't even realize that the PS4 is a very powerful machine, typical PC elitist crowd. They probably also don't know the PS3 has only 512mb of RAM and still has the power it does. PC only crowd has no clue how consoles work. PS4 exclusives will be blowing anything else out of the water for a long time. 8GB GDDR5 LOLWUT?

That's a real time in engine demo. From the magicians at Quantic Dream. And yes, their games always come out looking better than the tech demos.

GG.

MissDerry gets it.

If you could plug in a mouse and keyboard and play on ps4 that would be awesome.

PS3 already has full M+KB support and even has some games you can play with them. Not to mention PS+ and a ton of other awesome shit Sony does that the other ones don't. (Like not charging you to use a browser or use netflix you already pay for)

PS4 is going to be a very open environment for devs. Planetside 2, War Thunder, and Warframe are already announced as F2P on PS4, don't even need PS+.

This means PoE could be on PS4 and be F2P just like it is here, with shop items and all. As well as GGG being able to put out free updates. Anyone with a PS4 could DL it and play, just like it is on PC.

Yes, but they've already apologized for having to charge, they know they will need funds to improve the infrastructure. It's 49.99 a year or 14.99 for 3 months. Can also regularly get deals where it's 39.99 for a year.

But, the biggest thing is it's a great service. I only got back into consoles in January of this year and got a PS3. Someone told me to get PS+ and I was weary at frist. After seeing what you actually get though, it's IMO the best deal out there in gaming. I've played so many games that I either didn't feel like buying or never would have played otherwise.

That's what they gave out in 2012. You also get 1gig of online storage for saves so you can never lose them.

I bought a used Vita for cheap just to play all the free games I've gotten, don't regret it one bit.

F2P games, Netflix, the browser, all of that stuff will still be free. It's only for multiplayer since the majority of games will now have dedicated servers.

Thats not too bad at all honestly. It would've been nice if Amazon had that in the description tho.

Yea, they really should. Sony should be as upfront as possible about it because it really is a great deal.

First game for PS4+ is DriveClub PS+ edition. They say it's the full game but some cars are purchasable. Not bad for a free launch day game. We'll probably see some other launch titles shortly after.

That Dark Sorcerer video does it for me every time. I want my games to look like that.

Hello Community, and You game Dev
I would like to ask, whether you think it would be possible for POE to go into those platforms, both will have great support and cloud system. I am sony fanboy especially after last E3, *here is big middle finger to $ soft* and i would like to have this game on ps3/4, to make the playing even more pleasurable. Imagine, shock system, instant access, easier content to buy, taking poe outside the house, playing it without hardware/software failure.
What is your opinion?

If you have enough millions to invest in GGG and a 2nd development team then anything is possible.

BTW, I run PoE on Windows 7 64-bit on a Core-i5 cpu, 8 GB DDR3 ram, MSI 6870 1 GB video, and a Gigabyte socket 775 motherboard without any hardware/software failures. I use the NOD32 AV + anti-malware utilities, etc. and leave my computer running 24/7 and I don't reboot every day (maybe once a month at most or I shut down for safety when a bad thunderstorm comes over).
"You've got to grind, grind, grind at that grindstone..."
Necessity may be the mother of invention, but poor QoP in PoE is the father of frustration.
