GGG: Is the Orb of Alchemy vendor recipe working as intended?

The thing about this being or being not unfair advantage is one thing. The real problem is that collecting tons of trash and storing it is just no fun at all. Afterall the main goal is this thing to be fun. All trash should be worth just as much when sold one by one as any 2 parts of trash sold together. Stuff like resistance ring recipies make sense as a recipy, but collecting 2 copys of same crap and then they suddenly turn valuable is just dumb.

If only choosing to farm alchs was an option... If it's not fun, don't do it.

It's not a matter of fun, it's a matter of being rich to fund oneself through alch orbs. And I don't think anyone here who has plenty of stash tabs does not utilize the 2rarename alch recipe.

Did we really have to resurrect this fucking thread that was dead for 6 days just to perpetuate this argument? If you think it isn't fun, don't do it. You aren't at a disadvantage. You aren't going to get many matches at all in 2 week leagues, and having tons of alchs in default league isn't worth the life of a gnat that hovers around a dogs cock.

Sell your shit for alterations and buy jewelers/fusings. By the way i'm enjoying minecraft! Needed a break from PoE for a bit. Its an amusing distraction.

I still dont get why this recipe is even here, GGG said they wanted to eliminate the monotony of gold farming which they have partially done(if you dont calculate all the drop rates/average kill per second stuff) but this completely puts monotony back in and the boring grind.

Also its semi pay to win, so they are breaking a second thing they said they dislike.

Yeah you dont have to do it, is like saying play skyrim and hunt rabbits 24/7. Its an alternative but ultimately useless in comparison to what you could do.

2)No pay ton win.

This is questionable, but i find it interesting that the Silver+ supporters largely are in favor of this system where as the bronze and less supporters are largely against it.

Edit: just noticed the guy above said you arnt at a disadvantage if you dont do it. Have you tested this? sounds like you havnt i tried both ways and doing this recipe netted me around 3x as much currency.

Test things, before randomly stating incorrect observations. Otherwise its trollage.

Fuck you. I sold my "obnoxiously large" list of rares for jewelers and fusings. 18 tabs gone. I don't need alch orbs, I need chaos, fusing, jewelers, alteration, and regal that is easily traded for.

Edit: you cant obtain any of the orbs you listed with alchemy orbs? Have you ever played this game? I am starting to doubt it.

Edit number 2: there is a recipe for regal but its 3 same rare names, which means even more stash tabs! You dont even know the recipes you have no right to argue for or against this topic, when there are so many people here who have valid opinions yours is based off what i can see 0 knowledge of the actual game, infact are you sure you are i the right forum?

The devs are looking for feedback which isnt misleading, which yours is judging from your lack of displayed knowledge on the subject, when there are so many people who are posting good points about the positives and negatives of this system to them, and you are just filling it up with more trollage they must read through. Anyone who has read any of your posts can see that 99% of them are completely unconstrutive, offensive, filled with abuse and based off mere guessing.

You think the devs want to have to read through lines of profanitys mixed with unknowledgeable guessing work done at their game?

I agree with you on that one. I have a really stressful job, and don't enjoy being called an uninformed idiot when ive put my hours into this game. What you see as guessing, is prooven by how the game is now. Adding 3-5k more players wont change anything when ob comes.
