I personally don't think its such a big deal. You already get 4 stash pages, which is a lot. Not only that, but you can create new characters to hold your stuff. While of course I would rather have 30 stashes than 4, I still don't feel like I am being forced to buy more stash spaces to compete with other players.
I see stash spaces as time-savers. I also think some of you guys are over estimating the value of alchemy orbs. I didn't even find out about recipes for orbs until I was late into the game, and yet I was still doing fine. |

I like how I posted my list of rares to help out the ones complaining that the system is too hard for them, and not a single person even tried to help themself. They would rather just bitch and moan.
These people who don't want to pay even 25 bucks for an awesome game and get some stash tabs, or don't want to help themselves trading for matching names just need to stfu and get hit by a bus. |

" You are totally missing the point, Please read the other posts, also all you have contributed to this discussion is posts full of your uninformed useless opinion and posts full of anger and hate, and i have 13 stash tabs and i could get around not buying anymore andf still have good chaos/alchemy etc orb production. But it stil means i have to use the web app and keep doing the tedious task of doing it, when its just the same basically as selling to vednors for shards except it takes alot, lot longer and is made more efficient with the more money you spend on stash tabs. Also i already have an advantage over players who only have 4 stash tabs which i dont like at all.. BTW, no one is going to go through your stupidly long long post of rares(still dont know why you posted them since we cant use the app on them in that form, its basically spam). Please try to have more constructive things to say rather than telling people to kill themselves. |

" you can never equally compete with others that invest more - more time, more skill, more effort in general (like account-switching)... but you can compete with others on your level, with friends,- like just with the unknown guy above you in the ladder... its your goal that you set. I have not the time to play as excessive as some did within the 2 week race, nor am I a very fast paced player... if I would only had fun if I could beat the very best - for example in the ladder or in a race - there were no reason to play at all. But I play cause its entertaining to me, and its additional fun to reach my simple goals (or even come closer to them), to design strategies that give me advantages compared to my previous doing... invited by timer @ 10.12.2011

" You dont have to use it, its just making things (a lot, yes) easier (and yes, especially if you have high amount of -full- tabs. But the fact is, I expect that either the game will offer some similar feature(s) later, or they have to find a way to prevent such tools from working. Either its fine, then it should not be dependend on an external tool, or its denied. " No question, its an advantage (and not just only for the recipe/s) but only compared to people that are not willing (or able, may happen) to spend some money into the feature/game and not willing to invest some effort (more than one account) to have the same functionality: more than the basic amount of stash. That its actually not that easy to get a free 2nd account, is neither a problem of the recipe, nor of the stash selling, nor at all: cause all "richness" now is gone when closed beta ends. invited by timer @ 10.12.2011

Current implementation of Vendor System and Recipes combo'ed with ability to buy infinite stash pages is P2W in full glory.
I would love to see overhaul of current recipes that htey dont require so extensive (and mindles because you just stash almost EVERYTHING) hoarding and are more luck based (single drops are priced more, les emphasis on complex recipes) than grind-time and stash space based. It will solve many issues and vendor system requires ovehaul anyway because atm its simply not so fun (maaaaaany recipess simply suxx in terms of reward vs effort, not all currency has recipes, some blue items are worth srolls fragments, etc... ITS FAR FROM FINISHED. So finish/overhaul it and problems may gone). The main problem here (IMHO) is not this one recipe itself but overall design of vendor system that dont reward singular drops at all and by design requires stash buying to use it at least semi-effectively. @Mc_Gee
Do you even understand how these p2w games out there went into that trend? First, they are initially released as f2p, and everyone have equal chance at being great and have a good time playing. But slowly, "convenient items" like extra storage, more drop rate, more exp, better enchant protections etc., were being sold at the cashshop, and those who had access to it became much more stronger. How many p2w games that instantly make you win a match in competitive game? Or how many p2w game sells 1hko potion that let's you kill any boss? No, those are hacks. P2W games sells convenient items that destroys the game for those who doesn't want to pay to get a fighting chance. Note I say that because those player can still pay for the cosmetic, and still lagging behind actual game play even though they supported the game. The mindset of "I need to support this game so I can get stronger" is unhealthy to both the game company, and the player. Game should be fun to play, and progression should be felt as a reward, not as a chore. And to be honest, you should support the game from your heart, not from wanting to be stronger. If you think paying is the only way, why not pay someone to get all the godly gear for you, and just play the character once it's finished? You can use those time saved to work; isn't that so much better? Even though extra stash tab doesn't make this game immediately p2w, it is still counted as a step toward it. "It's more convenient!" said by many, and that's exactly what the p2w games said before they turned into a cashsink. That's something to think about before saying convenience isn't a problem. " +1, agreed on all points. This really needs to be kept an actual discussion with points and counter-points, and not devolved into tearing each other down for our opinions. |

" You enjoy the recipe in it's entirety(stashing, muling, setting aside 10-25mins of your day everyday AND receiveing alchs?) or just the part where you receive alchs for your efforts? Or, alternatively, the part where you feel you have a leg up on competition because you're willing abuse to the extreme while others are not? I don't believe I'm the minority when I say I enjoy getting alch orbs but I detest the tedium. I truely beleive that no one actually enjoys the tedium. They either enjoy the alch orbs or enjoy the thought of exclusivity when they know some are not willing to do this full time, full effort. That being said, there is nothing wrong with cutting out the tedium and keeping the reward(unless of course GGG says that their company *will* rely on bank tab sales, and bank tab sales only, to stay afloat). I've yet to see one person make the case that they enjoy having their stashed + mule chars filled to the brim, being unusable for their real intended purpose, enjoy having to use the web app, enjoy having to mule between chars/accounts; just that in general they like the process(likely for reasons I listed above). Nor have I seen anyone list good reason why we can't condense the recipe to something that doesn't take 50x space to manage than the other recipes, other than they assume GGG will be reliant on bank tab sales. However GGG's stance remains that they are keeping it implemented as is due to hearing "players enjoy" it and are "having success" matching across multiple accounts. |
