Ghetto Map Boss

That is is the worst nightmare of pretty much everyone who doesn't hide behind an army of undead meatshields.


Bear trap could really use some monster-use-only adjustments like puncture got. For players it's balanced by the fact that a). it only hits one enemy(so bad for crowd clearing) and b). it can only be cast 3 times in quick succession(so while it is a quick burst o damage it doesn't cut down on the total time to kill a boss by stupid amounts.


By contrast monsters don't have to worry about cloud clearing against anything but summoners and unlike bosses players don't have 50k+ life, so that 4000 Damage tends to be a huge portion of our total life- and that's even before the immobilization comes into play.


Monster Bear trap really should have it's damage effectiveness cut in half at the very least.

Not for my CI summoner, he's not. Sometimes I've killed him and only realised I'd found the boss after the loot explosion. Although there's a good popcorn warning as skeletons explode around him first, which I now know to listen for.

Just be careful, watch for the blue pack as you near a "corner" since that's where he tends to lurk, and if you haven't got a summoned army be sure and pack a movement skill to escape.

use decoy totem and granite flasks....if you have enough armor and hp/es should be easy.

My CI siphon witch gave no fucks about him. Temp chains and stay out of range. Simples.
It's all about approaching the boss area from the right angle. You can even position yourself on one of the elevated areas, with no ramp/stairs on screen, and cheese him without blinking an eye.

guys there is a difference between standard and hc i dont have the luxury to think hmmm what might happen if i position wrong and get oneshotted ?

he would die in seconds but why should i take the risk ?

I'm playing onslought with high rarity & quantity, and I agree with Varana. I only notice the boss after collecting 10-15 rares off of him.

oh and this is solo, in case you are wondering.

LMAO, is that for real or what?!?! Nobody else sees the racist as fek map title?

I only had problems with that guy in act 3 merciless (CoS) when i had shitty gear with my characters but it was before 0.11 balance

Now both CoS boss and ghetto map are a complete joke even with bad gear

If you have troubles get more armour/life or ES. Or more damage for oneshot him, or just use granites
