Diamond isn't rare. Expensive diamond is only ever worth it if it's expertly crafted into a piece of fine jewellery, not just a commercially manufactured ring with a chunk of diamond jammed in the top.

In the early 1900's..there were so many diamonds in Africa, one could just pick them up off the ground; the locals pretty much looked at these people after diamonds that were so abundant off the floor, that they were crazy.


Fast foward a hundred years later, television/marketing/what everyone does so you have to do to....teaches us to buy diamonds for women to prove you love them.

If the supply of diamonds were released and not guarded, there is so much diamonds one could buy a piece of diamond rock at a 99 cents store.


The only function a diamond has is as a cutting tool.

You noobs are wrong. The high level players already have good gear they want Exalted orbs to make their high level maps have great mods which increase drop rate and normally increase the amount of xp they get from the map. They spend a huge amount of currency to keep they map supply going.

Modding their maps help more maps drop.

pretty much the same principle applies here, the only thing i know they really get used on is maps sometimes, but at this point in the game no one is really using them outside of trading for better items. at least they shouldn't be using them yet, using them at this point would be an expensive mistake.

actually diamonds are not rare at all. It's a huge scam.

Actually only this week someone from GGG confirmed on reddit that divine orbs are in fact rarer than exalted orbs.
