Actually, I think it "may" free up that gem slot. Minion Resist will defiantly not be required anymore with purity + 3x single resist auras, and depending on how high the single res auras go, purity + minion resist may not be required at all.

I'm almost willing to bet that "Enhancement" will be +skill levels to support gems. If it is, that will defiantly be the new gem to go in 5L/6L for BM Spectres.

Still the same now that purity gets nerfed?

you'll still be capped they nerfed the max resist you got, so you'll just be at AR75.

Did you expect to get them for free? If you don't want extra auras, don't use PG. Your also leaving out the fact that PG has massive resists and up to 30 Dex, so you can drop purity and run the new auras for their max resist (which was one of the main reasons to run purity anyways).

Also, if the Max resists do go above 2%, all the better for aura specced summoners. Right now Purity is giving me 4% more cap, so if these auras go to even 3%, thats 6% more cap resist for my build.

I dont really understand why youre being so aggressive. I stated that I dont see pg as very good in hp builds because its detrimental to HP, and on high levels (85+) or hardcore you just cannot afford a drop in HP. the max res is really nice, but its not worth it running all three auras unless you take ALL mana reservation nodes (templar, north and south shadow, scion areas) [I dont, for example]. and those 3 auras will eat gem slots

PG (Prism Guardian)

Seems only viable in hybrid builds. You should always uphold character survivability above all else. So its quite detrimental on a life EB character.

In my opinion. It seems like these new auras shouldn't be mandatory it seems more like utility.

In this build u play around with your 4th aura (determination/hatred/???).

for example i'll use hatred if the map is easy

i'll drop that 4th aura to have a large mp pool for ms and use lvl 20 clarity with AA for ultimate tankiness

before going into a hard elemental boss fight i would use one of those elemental resist auras.

Its all about options, i keep the bottom row of my inventory dedicated to gems i can switch out with.

I recently found this in a drop. Should I keep it and use it when I finally get Iron Reflexes or look for something else?

Also, how important is a helmet with +2 to minion gems? I have yet to find one with decent stats that is within my budget. If it's really needed I better start saving up. :D

If you look here your gaining like 6%more damage and pretty much 2k flat hp, am sure your going to gain more resist as well

So +2 has a pretty large impact for zombies. I was toying with the idea of using the empower gem. If I wanted really tanky zombies. Another +2 would be ridiculous.

Armor looks fine. But if you choose to exploit manashield to the max you'll want to have as much mana as possible with EB and either ar/es or eva/es pieces. I choose a ar/es piece b/c its way easier to chrome. 4 blues 1 red.

actually I had another thought. One of the mandatory parts (at least for my build) is having a BM spectre which I have buffed into an indestructable tank.

With these buffs, I may end up simply running righteous fire myself since i'll have the super fire aura buff going, and i've got 130% flask effectiveness so should get 13% from those.

75% base, 13% pot, 5-7% from the new aura (i'm assuming it'll give higher max resist than purity) is 93-95% ... Is there a cap on max resist of 95%? or can you push it to 100% provided you have the gear available?

I am actually looking forward to this now. theres not much cold damage anywhere thats dangerous, zombies have 64% anyway so dont need that. swapping fire/lightning doesnt sound too bad since lightning for the most part isnt that dangerous either aside from a couple of bosses, so fire aura would be the default one anyway.
