Just gotta say, this build is probably one of the most fun builds I've ever done in any game like this.

My very first character in Diablo 2 was a Corpse Explosion Summonmancer and well, this build gives me nerd chills of nostalgia from back in those days. I love blowing shit up, it's amazing.

Also, this build is extremely manly indeed. If there is one thing I've learned, especially with lioneye's boots is that I always fight, never run. I lifesteal and kill so fast. Well, unless of course the enemy is reflect elemental, then I switch out IB for Dominating, and get some damn minions to do the work for me.

Currently lvl72 and having fun in lvl67-69maps.


I picked up the starting melee +physical damage since the buff, it added like 600 or something dps which is pretty sweet. I opted out of the +es +armor into +8%all res body and soul passives and all of the endurance charges but still got all Oak rewards. I grabbed more health nodes instead. It's working out well right now, maybe in higher level maps I'll respec, but for now it's just all punch punch die die explode explode.

With 75 resist vs 50, you take half the damage

Daresso's, Carnage, dual Prismatics, and I'm assuming a nice tri-res boots.

Assuming mid-rolls on the uniques:

Daresso's - 15%
Carnage - 15%
Dual prismatics - 12% (with possible secondary roll of maybe 10%)
Solid tri-res - 35%

That gives you 87%.

24% from skill tree (2x 12% all res), assuming you don't take any of the other possible all res nodes.

You now have 51% after Merciless deductions. You can get higher rolls, or alternatively, get fire and lightning secondary rolls on the Prismatics, since Meginord's gives you cold resistances. And you might be fortunate enough to get higher on the tri-res boots or the uniques. Give or take, with some work, 75 all res isn't too hard to hit. Plus there's always Purity if you really need to make up for it.
