To all the melee players out there...
Melee Marauder with 17k armor here, it's A LOT easier even tho I lost ~600hp and a couple of resist. This patch is awesome!

" enfeeble is your friend. This + blind. I assume most ppl dont use the enfeeble curse, which takes away 30% of the mobs dmg......this is such a huge number, I dont wanna miss it anymore. Mobs are now onehit anyways. So no need for any dmg curse. |

Dual Claw, CI, GR Shadow. I seem to be doing a lot better now. Really loving the changes to the 'Raker' section of the Shadow tree.

My dps went up, my survivability went down the drain, i got twice as many health nodes, and half the life. shit patch.
Until melee actually gets BUFFED instead of NERFED, i wont play. Good job chasing away players, potential costumers, and free mouth to mouth advertsing. The game was great, melee just needed a better damage reduction buff and/or life buff, this patch just destroyed melee even more. |

Guys i think we are playing a different game.As a CI dagger i was what u call a glass cannon.High DPS but very fragile.After the patch my flickerstrike went up from 56k to 82.6K and mobs where dealing WAY less damage.I cant talk about kole and piety cause i killed them in a second but definetely rare mobs on barracks/lunaris are dealing LESS damage to me

As I said pre patch, even if the results aren't perfect right off the bat, they're doing things right this time -- changing the meta in a more controllable manner, allowing them to better diagnose where the issues are after the change (as opposed to the mess that was v0.10, where too many thins were changed at once and resulting balance issues could not be easily attributed to any one thing). " I had Enfeeble up + Granite flask going. After respeccing into more life, taking on Kole was more comfortable, but not like pre-patch. Hard hits will still bypass armor, making life all the more important. For Ranger build tips, tactics, and critiques, visit this thread:

Actually, it makes AR all the more important. Not life. Before, being able get enough AR to survive large hits was nigh impossible.
Now it is actually quite possible to do so. Just takes some gear and AR nodes. Life nodes don't add that much EHP |

The damage feels better,but somethings are still needing a look,especially rhoas charge and bosses damage(Chatters nearly pwned me while standard mobs do little damage and even if they can hit my AR/evasion duelists,perhaps just nerfing bosses damage a little while increasing mobs a little would do the trick with less hp).
