About new passive names

When I read the patch notes that said all the notables were going to have unique names, I assumed that meant that meant the +30 attribute nodes would be called things like "Might I" "Might II" etc. Instead they've got names like "Beef."

This not only makes it harder to collectively refer to nodes that are functionally identical, but it also challenges some of the seriousness of the game. First impression is that I don't like the way these renames were handled. Wondering if I'm the only one?

Ahahah I thought Beef was a joke. I dunno about you but that's hilarious.
IGN: Asser, AssDelver, Assphobic, AnointedAss, BetrayedByMyAss, CrackedAss, FracturedAss, FulcrumedUpMyAss, ImpaledAss, IncursionOfTheAss, WarForTheAss, UnleashTheAss, ScreamingAsshole, SwampAssKing, Yui
I'm all for a return to the original form and thereby aesthetic essence of the skill tree, although this is only a partial change and I did not find anything specifically amiss with the original naming of most notable skills. But ah, "Beef" ? I'm a touch incredulous and will just have to see for myself..
hmm...they all seem non-joking to me, except for beef...that's the only one...

overall the node names aren't a joke imo.
I don't use Rejuvenation Totem. I use Spell Totem + Vitality +Reduced Mana. Like a boss.
Beef... shit just got interesting.
they should just rename "beef" to "loads of shit" >_<

In case you lot don't realise, the word "beef" or "beefy" can apply to a muscular physique.
It's not a troll at all, but is still funny as hell.
Don't think it is funny and it seems a little unprofessional and 'anti-thematic'. I see no reason to have changed the names of nodes making people have to remember a multitude of different names and a 2 year old could have come up with better names for many nodes like gymnastics and beef...I mean comon so much for scary hardcore theme...More like childish and carebear.

[edit]nvm, I need to just accept that people are stupid.

I understand why they did it, but I think it was unnecessary. I never had a problem finding anything people were referring to in the skill tree before with a few more adjectives than you used in your example above...If it was so important to differentiate everyone of them than at least use some more creative names...
