Removing the group bonus for area bosses would not affect botting but it would help with the multi-box-exploit. Also you can't be sure that they are farming the ledge. They could be doing the mervile run over and over again.
Maybe removing the group loot bonus on area bosses is extreme. Maybe GGG could add a check in the game where the bonus only counts for accounts that deal >10% of total boss life. IGN: Wrathmar * Paulie * Client

was kinda funny I just went to act 1 and so many dudes log on same time take same route 1 by 1 in such a bot motion go to vendor then stash then wp, each stopping at random same exact points when not at stash vendor for half a sec

Ofc dude, they run beach 24/7 with bots, i already stated this once but they deleted my post because i pointed out on FACT that 1a normal drops more currency.
GGG wants you to reroll new chars like madman, if you ever hit like 70-80 you would understand. Maps are useless waste of time compared to clearing docs in 2mins. So did Legacy items naturally goes away as intended or they still core of standard economy 4 years later after they became "feature".

The economy in regular leagues is destroyed because of bot farming necessitating ridiculously low drop rates for things like exalteds, and nerfed rates in certain zones and surley hidden tweaks. Now's their chance to fix it. But I suspect that every Lioneye's Watch in the new leagues will also feature endless parades of duelists named"hjjgdduiliih" jogging from portal to stash to Nessa and to the waypoint.
