Diablo 2? lmao. I did fine in d2 hardcore. Over 10 99 toons. Everyone just used pickit. Plus no one I every knew partied in d2 to find loot. People only partied to get exp or rush. Magic find group? Why would you every magic find a in a group in d2.
This FFA loot system "cuttthroat" is old and dumb. It doesn't do anything for the game. I guess GGG will see this when more people quit playing, but it will be to late by then. My uncle just quit the game and gave me his account. I guess I win and loose.

So you never did Baal or Mephisto runs to get loot? Your loss I guess...

????? where did I say I never killed baal or meph? Killed them all the time.
I guess you made crappy toons that couldn't kill meph or baal solo. :(

The point is that even though the game was designed as the loot not being yours until its in your inventory, THAT MAKES NO DIFFERENCE.

It doesn't make people enjoy the system any more.

When have you ever seen someone go, "Thats crap I am so pissed off right now, that guy just stole my item", then someone say "no dude its not really yours until you pick it up", and then the other guy says "Oh my bad I definitely don't care at all now that I know that."

People will feel and think what they want. Its not their fault the system is confusing and not likable.

The game makes people feel like the items were intended for them.

This was posted on page 630 by a forum mod. They are going to ‘grudgingly’ change the system. He used ‘we’ multiple times in the quote. That indicates that he is talking on behalf of the Devs.

Also when I sent an email to support asking for a dev response to this thread I got this reply.
‘It's likely we'll be tweaking this system in the future depending on player feedback.’

So you are free to debate the definition or ‘your loot’ until the system is changed.

Most people didn't. I sure as heck didn't in Hell mode. It would have taken forever with my tank barb.

Also, the heck is a "toon"? A cartoon?

Is there any admin post about exp boost? wiki says there is %30 bonus for starting an area with a party member. and additional %50 for per additional ppl...

Bull. Crushing Blow + Fast ITD weapon. Use Amp Damage from a wand or on-hit if you wanted to get it done faster, although for a tank you probably wanted them to have Life Tap instead.

what is true? that FFA loot is one of the worst systems ever created that promote grief and botting (pickit bots) ??

in the 600 pages i have yet to see ANY PRO of the ffa system apart the "cut throat" feeling...i have YET to see
