Yes, its great game, but the loot system is terrible. Im playing in party just for boost lvl. In the future, when i finish the game, i definetly will go farming alone. No Party at all.

The timers are too short.

If there is a mechanic that makes me quit the game, this will be it.

Being forced to run into a pack of fire breathing mobs to grab your item is not cool. Even if I do take the chance, the timers are too short at least 70% of the time.

Yeah, i cant farm in parties, couse i ALWAYS get 300-500 MS latency in party, and playing solo i always get 150MS, so, even with the timer, i cant get my loot, sometimes i can see a player get my orb BEFORE THE TIMER is over(due latency probably).

So, i've been farming the docks from level 62 to 66 soloing, couse i cant pick up jack in party, found 1 upgrade that is not that good, i dont even think u can call an end game item, and ONE chaos orb found.

so i tried some party, and even with me clicking spamming the items with my name, i lose them.

Im getting tired of farming and get nothing, i dont wanna gear to be easy to get, but i wanna to be able to solo farm since the system sucks.

I do not like the current loot system, but I also think that instanced loot is an even worse Idea.

I feel the only problem with the current system is the extremely short timers. The short timers penalize anyone with a slower connection/fps issues. It is nearly impossible for players with not as good vid cards, and crappy internet speeds to get loot with the current system in public parties.

Just make the timers a tiny bit longer. Right now they are insanely short. My items often disappear into another's inventory before my client even shows me that my timer is up. Very frustrating.

I believe that the vast majority of players that are pissed about this current system would not be so agitated if the timers were a little bit longer. Someone mentioned 30 seconds (too long) and another 15 seconds (also too long) But the current of 1 - 5 seconds based on distance to the item is just too short. It should be a minimum of 5 seconds on each item, even if it drops right next to the player allocated for.

Like someone already mentioned. Instanced loot is the other extreme to ffa loot, and would be an equally bad idea. Both are bad ideas and a compromise needs to be made. (Closer to the ffa side of things but not full on ffa).

My first (!) uniq was stolen. on 62 lvl.

That's because this is an online game and it's designed for players with a reasonable ping. Ever play a FPS that tries to compensate for players with ultra-high ping? It screws it up for everyone. 300-500ms latency is not a "playable" ping for playing with other people and you should not expect any online game to be designed for it.

I get 70-100ms ping even playing while tethered to my cell phone, so I can only imagine what kind of connection you're playing on. You should be happy with single player and call it a day; your dissatisfaction has nothing to do with the loot system.

Fix the loot system nigs god damn. Such a stupid design. Make it like one minute timers or some shit its way to short or just make it individual loot like it should be. For fucks sake.

yet, when there is a system which can diminish bad connectivity..we can't call it a day.. :P

face it...Instanced loot can fix almost every issue which was created by FFA loot ..yet..we have to somehow blame players, connectivity..pointing to original vision of GGG etc...do everything what is possible to tell instanced loot supporters "STFU"...
