Clearly you didn't play MMOs before World of Warcraft :)

EDIT: Nothing wrong with being young, or new to gaming, I just found it humorous that you made it sound like it was some completely outlandish concept when it was, in fact, the reality of online games for many years :)

You're absolutely right, a lot of members disagreed with FFA, that's why the timer is there now..
For me personally, i love the timer fix, it gives the game an additional challenge, that is for me personally..
I would however agree to that the targeting of the loot i.e misclicks etc, needs to be further worked on, maybe made so that it's enought to click inside the box for the char to grab that loot.

Who are you to say the CB members liked it. I didn't and don't like it.
This thread is over 2 years old. If everyone liked it so much it wouldn't be this old and this active.

In general GGG listens very good to their players, but in this case they are very stubborn and let their own principles exceed over the wishes of their clients. They want to keep that cutthroat feeling in the game. Aaaaaah, come on. There is no cutthroat feeling in this game. Yeah, perhaps in the first few minutes, hours, days of playing, but once you played multiple characters through the different acts and it just starts to be an ARPG grindfest, it lost all of it and you do not get that feeling back by keeping some archaic FFA-loot mechanism in muliplay.


Well, i'm a cb member, and i liked it, amongst others..I did however not say that EVERYONE liked it, wich, as i said, is why we have a timer today.
It's a grindfest game, as are many others arpg games...it's kind of what they are.
I'm not taking away anyones opinion however, if you don't like it that up to you or hoever it may concern.
