players are not some mindless zombies that eat whatever you through at them

The top grossing games say otherwise....

your point?
have you seen any social hostile, group unfriendly games at the top grossings?
When you judge another, you do not define them, you define yourself
Please increase loot timers, as a ranged dps by the time i get to the loot my timer has pretty much expired, coupled with latency its a sad situation where i reach maybe 1/5 rares in time. I like that its cut throat loot, but at the same time i am really sick of repeatedly loosing good loot that i was allocated.. especially when its a gem i really wanted.

in fact you do not like FFA..cause you know in it's core...you deserved no loot if you click slower than your opponents..timers are there in the first place to "ease" the cut throat feeling...

I'm not a ranged player, i'm a shadow with claws, but i'm not able to pick rare items because my latency is it 110-90 what happen well when i see the item in the ground the timer is already in a half and if i'm just away that my character have to move, i'm not gonna be able to pick the item which is unfair

It needs 2.5s or 2 to make more fair the loot

Yep. If loot with your name gets taken by another player, you should be given a 5 second window to initiate a duel to determine the true owner of that property. If the loot stealer denies the duel request, the item is automatically transferred to rightful owner/player is kicked/some other means of punishment.

You could also keep track of the number of duel denies, and after some number tallies up, the player is labeled with the tag "Coward" appended to his name.

This is a funny Idee. The Problem in a 6 player groupe, you cant quest, every 2 min a Duell? :D

Make the Timer longer and all is good, other mecanics need a complete redesign of the Loot System.

Think its the easyest way to do now something

I see a Problem whit Penaltys when you click on a Item thats not for you. I am playing a Marauder, i stay in the Mobs, sometimes i dont see realy the mobs but i click click than i found a Target. When i click and i targeting an item thats not myne i become a Penalty? Ranger havent thies Problem.

I can understand that not every person has it's separate drops per mob (would make multiboxing way too powerful otherwise) hence keeping the way drops are distributed is good.
But i agree that a person's drop should be their's until they pick it up and drop it OR until 1 minute passes.

Otherwise u will KILL public games, and thus loose A LOT of players, period.
I lost count on how many drops i got ninja'd, and just now my 2nd gcp got ninja'd and i'm officially now done with public farm games.

And to be perfectly clear, i'm a fast clicker, i grew up on Diablo juice.
It's one thing to get your drops on a boss, it's another when your loot drops while fighting huge packs of mobs and having to make your way trough hitboxes and fps drops to your item.

Not to mention the "skillful" ninjas who explore ahead of the group to try ninja chest drops and pull more packs to keep people busy.

GGG, you guys are awesome but this is a bad decision that hopefully will be changed soon.
Some people love cut throat, some love to keep it all friendly.

If the party leader could change the loot timer for the group that would be awesome.
Many players who backed away from grouping will start participating in multiplayer.

40k people online, and how many of them are in parties?
If the developers could see the statistic of solo players versus players in parties currently online the would surely do something different about the loot.

I personally love playing in parties very much, but I loose half of my loot there. Therefore I'm forced to play solo, which is not very interesting.

Its the final Goal to make a Lootchar? Only Health and Resist you need, others kill the Mobs, you can stay close to the Mobs and loot faster than the ohters. Your Lootskill will increas 170% of other Players....
Try your own build, rerolling again and again, more fun than Maps.
Plus, its a good suggestion to hide items and their timers from other players until the timer ends. It will make the screen much cleaner, no more those nasty loot explosions.
