Zarokh and name reusing

So this league has the npc called Zarokh the Temporary talking in mirages
I thought he would be the boss But today I realized he's reference to poe2 (there is a boss) So eh... why? Why put a reference to character who doesn't even exist in poe1? Wouldn't it be better to not have these games reference each other? Last bumped on Mar 12, 2026, 9:58:18 PM

" POE1 and POE2 occupy the very same world, decades apart. Zarokh didn't magically appear in the years between; he has existed for thousands of years. He very much exists during POE1. Even if it only amounts to a one-off easter egg, it's still pretty cool for the players who enjoy both games. |
