Probably not. One of GGG's defenses against that is running critical things through core servers in Texas as opposed to the normal realm ones closer to you. Any attack would probably need to glitch those; and attacking them would trigger global problems not just localized ones.

Isn't this the 3rd time you use ddos as an excuse? come on fix your game GGG its been 5 years since eu servers had problems.

I won't comment like other people, as the problem has existed for several leagues.

But I don't understand the purpose of the DDoS.
There are many better targets (no offense) to attack with a DDoS.

I can only imagine the perpetrator being a big company whose business you are threatening.
Still, I really have no clue who it could be.

I'm experiencing an inability to open map portals in standard server. Tried a couple times and it won't open portals. Is that due to server instability?

Edit: this problem went away the next day.

it seems like GGG is the only Company that has to deal with ddos attacks, they just can‘t find a solution for this

Those must be some truly dedicated attackers, considering it's been the same since few leagues already. I bet it's Chris Wilson attacking from his basement.
