Phrecia extend untill the end of the month

You appear to be mistaken on who the troll is in this thread: re-read the title and then the posts you are writing.
It's pretty clear from the last few posts that you are the type to only see in the statistics what you WANT to see, whether it is a true statistical analysis or not. This is a pretty common occurrence on these forums and I have no interest getting into the nitty gritty in yet another thread. Suffice to say: shame you don't like it. This isn't the thread or the place to go on a rant, and the stats don't support what you (or the other one) are saying as much as you want or believe them to. Starting anew....with PoE 2

I don't know if I'd want the next league pushed back, but the event is great and I'll be playing it every single day that it runs.

Yes, please extend the event. I didn't like the original league very much but with this event I'm having fun.

regardless of what you think of the numbers
imo its very likely that GGG didnt even want to make this event and doest want players tpo play if or long or at all the reason for this is simple most ppl get "bunred out" from playing games like PoE after some time all players i know stop between 1-2 months into a league depending on how much they like the league and how much time they had the majority of mtx seem to be bought in the first 2 weeks of a new league (personal expierence dont have any data for it) and the points for them normaly come from supporter packs the next league is a bit more than 1 month away i asume (if they keep the 4 month cycle) having players play "too much" now without any new supporter packs and risk having them not come back at the start of next league could lower the sells on next league start so they made an event that ppl "wanted" add some stuff into it that ppl dont like (atleast not for a longer time) they have a "good" excuse for ppl complaining *edit i am aware that some ppl really like this event and the bonus mods on areas i gues the ppl that like these "harder" events are more "invested" into poe and ggg is betting on them returning for next league anyway Last edited by ciel289#7228 on Feb 5, 2026, 2:40:29 PM

" well its only 3 weeks so there's that. Players CANT play it long. But as for the "didn't want to make this event"....where did that come from? GGG has run events in almost every single modern league going back years. They have historically put quite a bit of effort into events that happen in the interim die-off between a league and the following league. These aren't the patterns of a developer that "doesn't want to make events". Because they could always.....NOT do events. https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Event Starting anew....with PoE 2 Last edited by cowmoo275#3095 on Feb 5, 2026, 3:34:59 PM

" the idols are more rewarding than normal atlas tree if you use them right and ggg has stated multiple times in the past that "more" rewarding events are a problem ppl feel the "normal" game isnt rewarding enough after them the duration of the event isnt that important, the problem is the short time between the event and a new league all the events in the last 2 years were done when the league went on much longer than normal "only" 3 weeks all players i know burn out after 1-2 months and 1-2 weeks break normaly isnt a long enough time for them to come back having a hard reset after 3 weeks (if the player enjoys the event) is likely to make them stop playing earlier because they dont want to reset the down time after that isnt long enough to "recover" so making ppl "rage quit" much faster, because the bonus mods make it harder and really unfun sometimes is the best result for ggg btw this obviusly isnt how everyone plays but all players i know have this kind of behaviour so asuming that a bigger part of all poe players behave the same way isnt unreasonable |

" You know that makes this event make a whole lot more sense. They couldn't let people just enjoy normal Phrecia again, so they had to make the game "harder" with the gauntlet stuff and enrage on top. That's just sad, guess we're never getting real Phrecia again then. Unless we're in another 1 year content drought like Settlers league maybe. No fun allowed,The Vision and so on. |

" They delivered what the community requested, satisfying the majority. Naturally, even when GGG offers sweet candy to most of the player base, there is always the chance it will taste sour to a vocal minority. Fortunately, GGG understands this and designs content that appeals to the larger group rather than the smaller dissenting segment. Their ultimate goal is to maintain player retention, not to undermine it by shaping events or mechanics around the lowest common denominator " Seriously? They just launched Phrecia a few days ago and the event is still going on? Beyond that, I am sure that at the end of 3.28 there will be another gap-filler event if the community expresses sufficient interest. It could very well be Phrecia 3.0, but it might also be something entirely different. Revisiting some of the older events, such as Endless Heist, Delve, Mayhem, and many others, could serve equally well as enjoyable end-of-league gap fillers. " the current event has extra mods for areas that you cant see before entering, they are rnd on maps (on top of map mods) bosses are the gauntlet boss not the normal ones i.e. you fight a 2nd brutus after the first one in a different room that has the Hydra Towers and yes this is during the campaign all uniq enemies enrage at low life and the dmg buff for them seems to be much bigger than the normal enrage Zizaran even made a video about this its a lot harder then Pherica 1 Steamchart numbers show that over 50% of players that came back for Perica have already stoped again, so it doesnt seem this was what players wanted Last edited by ciel289#7228 on Feb 5, 2026, 6:12:08 PM

" Harder than Phrecia1 but easier than gauntlet. In this event I've seen players die 30 times to Brine king going in with 1k hp and uncapped resists. That's not how you're supposed to play. Regarding the player numbers just go to the ladder.. over 15k characters lvl95+ and for HC more than 300 92+. The event is very popular steam chart doesnt reflect that.
