This is EA. The developers are currently fixated on Exilecon to make even more money from ticket sales. They've long forgotten about the temple. They'll fix it for next season

nope
drop rate is still 15% as it was on start, nothing changed
I love seeing those who complain about a temple when they do not have a good temple yet they do not complain about making 40 div from omen of light or 50 div for a whittling ZERO risk farming for those items
there is defiantly something with lock drop rate.

72 rooms was 2-5 locks per run. Now I get like 0-1
After reading all the comments to the last 2 prior hotfixes i went on a little experiment, since my luck of getting any medaillions was pretty jinxed.

Like so many others stated i had like little to no drops of any medaillions in a 30 rooms+ temple for at least 6 runs in a row with 5 T3 Spymasters i got only 1 lock medaillion every second run or so. I checked on how many Commanders i have build in the middle to get sacrificed and i had 5 up to that point.
So i decided not to rebuild any more Commanders...

...last thing i knew once they were all gone lock medaillions started raining from the sky like crazy again up to 5 per run on a 21 room main chain.

Since then i have been able to allways prelock my mainchain have 4 to 5 lock medaillions in reserve and nitpicky a porkchop here and there.

So maybe it is just a theory but deleting all my commander rooms really solved the issue of not getting any medaillions especially lock medaillions to drop.

Anyone else can confirm this strategy?

I am using russian Tech for Gigajuiced Temple and i am about to get to the 3rd corner on my first mainsnake. 7 Spymasters so far 5 x T3, 2 x T2.

Except that omen farming is available to anyone endgame with the zero risk as you describe, including those people with massive temples.
I do not even have commanders in my chain yet, just spymaster garrison around the outside border and I got 1 lock after 3 runs. Unfortunate. Before this patch, I would always have 4 locks on hand on top of reroll medallions or room medallions.

I would have to leave the temple to lock stuff to go back in and pick up remaining locks and would even leave some behind. Now I am barely getting ANY medallion, even the stupid restricted room ones are barely dropping.

There's definitely something to it, I have over 150+ hours of experience building a temple, and before I started playing with Atziri (with the subsequent short circuit of two snakes and a complete ruin of the temple 70+ rooms) - I always had full tanks of lock medallions (Every run 3-5 locks dropped)

Now, building the 4th temple, with some added garbage rooms on the other side or in the center -
The drop rate changes and sometimes I can get 5-6 locks. If I only have the main snake with 8 spymasters, the locks do not drop in 3-4 runs.
You finally - whether intentionally or not - introduce a league mechanic that many players find enjoyable and rewarding, then for some unfathomable reason choose to botch everything by inserting “the vision”. This game has MAJOR bugs, performance issues, etc., yet the only thing you are able to successfully address is too much loot/currency dropping.
