0.4.0d Restart Fix

My dude, if you have a complete temple already and is not PRE locking it, yes you did something wrong

Bro, what?

First of all why do only people with complete temples matter? Everyone trying to get there doesn't? That's the people actually making and loosing building progress here.
Nothing would change for people with complete temples when they rolled them back. What are you even talking about?

Also people with full temples do go on dry streaks where they lock some or even all ends after. I did several times on my previous temple before I started building this new one which just got bricked. Notice how people complain about lock drop rates? You think they all have 6 locks in inventory?

You completely missed the part where rolling back a few rounds of temple looses anyone more progression than not being able to lock it after leaving.

My guy, i'm also building my temple now, using the "russian tech" and i made progress during that time, a lot of people also made progress and DONT want a rollback, you see the problem here? I'm completely sure more people made progress than people lose progress during that time, and there's no "fantasy weight" to what values more here
Can we work on destabilization and Dc'ing during boss fights next. that would be lovely
still not fixed
This just happened to me, after the restart. On Act 2 HCSSF if it helps.
This is why you lock before you go in kids.

Just adding another data point that I believe something has changed with the lock medallion drop rates. Struggling to sustain locks with 11 T3 spymasters and 11 T3 Garrisons.

Some hard data: my last 13 temple runs have had the following number of locks dropped:

0, 0, 1, 1, 0, 2, 0, 1, 2, 1, 2, 0, 1

Average: 0.85 per run.

I was averaging >1 lock when I had far fewer spymasters during the previous week as I was building my temple. I don't have any data there, but I was consistently at 6/6, had no fear of running out after hitting ~5 T3 spymasters, and was able to use multiple locks per run often.

RNG sometimes RNGs, but this feels off.

Will pause playing until I hear something. I cannot risk losing a week's worth of grinding and progress on my 1/3rd built temple. Already way too much time required and it's unacceptable to lose that at this point

You're just unlucky and over exaggerating at this point. If i take my last runs from today i average 3 locks per Run. So nothing changed. Sometimes you have to accept your bad rng and play along. Or you could blame it on other ppl. Your choice. (:

This happened before the update, so Kieren you didn't just introduce this bug. You maybe made it worse though. OP's post is incorrect entirely.
Great!

IT STILL ISNT FIXED!

Sidenote, I got told to contact support to help correct my temple, and then support just told me they can't help fix anything.

ROFL.

Lets implement ingame mechanics and things, introduce bugs, blast peoples hard work, and offer no solutions at all?

AMAZING.
Ill tell you the same I did on hotfix 26 patchnotes: the best way to create artificial player retention is force them to repeat the same stupid loop of having to farm x30 maps to get x60 crystals to run x10 temples. By shadownerfing locks you make this process far longer which secures another 10-15 days of playtime of most of the non sweaty gamers that cant dedicate 8-10 hours per day to play the game.

At some point you may wanna stop fking buying supporter packs and click the unfollow button to all those streamers that promoted & exploited bugs to get advantage and accelerate the natural inflation by a fking mile. Btw, completely unpunished once again, since they get their income out of playing PoE2 10 hours per day & GGG get his perfect marketing tool for free. Forming a perfect symbiothic relationship of mutual benefit.

Oh wow and how many spymasters did you place down after the patch? One? Maybe two? This is the simplest of techniques. My entire spymaster chain is teched like that and that was by far the easiest part.

To fix the rooms I lost I would have to get three sacrificial chambers, which I can't because it's in my chain, while sustaining three locks every round while also having to delete half of my second chain to even get access to that spot.
Do you have any idea what that means?

The magic fantasy weight here is time. Very simple concept. Whatever progress you made after 0.4.0d is objectively negligible compared to what many others have lost.
