I'm not sure I understand the complaints about ruined economy

Far as I can tell from my previous experience both on PoE2 and PoE1, prices for some types of top gear are indeed cheaper at the start of the league.
This seems to mostly be because: - players don't yet have the currency to pay high prices; - players want to sell fast to in turn use the gained currency to buy new stuff as they are leveling up and getting their build in order; - exalts have more value because their utility is greater early on (due to less greater essences, abyss stuff, omens); - divs are less valuable because fewer players yet have the gear they would use a div on; - players start to craft more so the need for currency increases and you don't want to sell gear at a price under its crafting cost On the other hand, some stuff is more expensive at the start of the league. Low-level uniques and good-but-not-top leveling gear for example. While later in, they become either 1 exalt or just don't sell at all. And that's simply because the supply increases as player's who used them stop using them and put them for sale. As a general observation; as the league goes on, prices get closer to what standard has. I think that's really because in standard, prices are fairly close to what the hourly cost in currency would be. In case of gear, what the hourly cost for the currency needed to craft the said piece would be. Right now, I keep reading that there's no good gear to be bought. I checked some prices for gear that is OK for late mapping and yeah it doesn't seem very expensive? For example, a Withered Wand with +3 chaos spell level, +25% cast speed, and +175% damage is 10 chaos orb. Or +4 chaos spell, +30% gained damage and +105% increased damage at 6 exalts. Or for body armour with implicit regen, +100 max life, at least +60% el resistance, and at least 1800 armour, 10 ex. Sure, I know that stuff is not top 1%. But it's stuff with almost all mods useful, half of them in T2s and T3s, and other half in T5s and T6s. You absolutely can do T15 maps with them. You can do your first couple of difficulties of pinnacle bosses with them. For the more expensive stuff; far as I can tell, the prices do fall pretty closely to what that gear would cost to craft yourself. I don't see why at this point in the league that sort of gear should be much cheaper than that. If it was, it would never be worth it to craft it. In case I am missing something crucial here, please do inform me. I'm also curious as to what the actual solutions here would look like. Like should gear and currency drop rates just be increased? Isn't there then a risk that players run out of stuff to upgrade faster? I've been following SSF leaderboards since start of the league, and honestly, I was quite surprised at just how quickly those players managed to craft themselves gear with good mods with the most important mods in highest tiers. Don't try to think too much. I'll make it easier for you
- the inflation currently after about 2 weeks is the same as the one in the previous league after about 2 months - there is only one mechanic which makes insane currency with everything else being worthless or close to worthless Basically, unless you really like making your temple there is no incentive to play in this league. You are wasting your time. The only reason to keep playing is if you are a SSF player. |

" It's a fun hobby of mine. " What's this based on? I checked exalts to divines rate and seems we're at same point as the previous league was at the 1 month mark. " What's the incentive? And does this mean that after 1 or 2 months into the previous league, there was no incentive to play anymore? |
|
" ya not thinking too much is exactly why everyone falls for the rage bait rhetoric, cause it doesn't even make sense what is inflated exactly? if its caused by the temple dropping hundreds of divines for each person running it, divines should be deflated every league has inflation, or rather devaluing of exalts. this is caused by more people reaching end game, farming more and more exalts easier, and wanting to turn those into divines to buy upgrades. this happened sooner than last league because it happened over the holidays, when people have time off and are playing the game way more the flame out on temple is ridiculous, because the rage happened before anyone was really doing it. they saw one video and jumped to emotionally fueled conclusions with no evidence, basis, or sense |

" bruh, price of 1 fracture orb doubled from 2 to 4 divines in 24h, kalandra was 1200 yesterday, today its 2100. |
|
|
fracturing orbs and mirrors are going up in price, yup, because people are getting more money for them
but those things are pretty rare so the more demand for it, the more it goes up were you saving up for a mirror? are you sad that its now 3000 divines? mirrors always go up in price as the league continues. so do things like fracturing orbs, as people want to use them to craft stuff now as the league continues |

Do you people realize that you're contradicting yourselves?
If everybody and their mom is grinding temple, then surely things that cannot be obtained there will go up in price? You can do multitudes of things in order to make profit and one meta strategy being overwhelmingly popular makes it easier, not harder. Go farm abyssal currency/omens/catalysts/essences/liquid emotions and you will do just fine. |

Wasn't mirror about 1,500 before the exploit blew up? I guess it's pretty normal for it to double in price in such a short timespan. Just your usual inflation and nothing to do with the thousand divines some people farm every day.

" Doing temple requires no tablets investment. Absurd Temple loot + abyss/breach/ritual, while the general players still building up the temple. |
|
" why dont you just check the charts before speaking nonsense publically. show me a point in time at 0.3 league where price of mirror or fracture orb nearly doubled in one day. In fact it took 75 days to reach 2k divs per mirror, here at 0.4 only 14 days. extremely unstable prices, all due to abusing min-maxing prone mechanics like tablet stacking (rarity+effectiveness+mods) or the vaal temples. Second day in the league you had videos on youtube showing 40 divs per hour with Abyss stacking. Just the league is bad and im surprised theres still weird people claiming its working as intended Must be a great gameplay for beginner crafters trying out fracture orbs at 4divs/1 price. LMAO |
