Holten exploiters has to be banned
" Starting to suspect the bot farmers don’t want to pay for the EA ticket again if banned for a season. “In all the realms of heaven and in all the realms of hell I alone am heralded as the honored one, who am I?”

Relax, Chief. It's early access.

IMO they should have one of two things happen to people that did the Exploit, a lot
1# have all of their currency removed, and their characters deleted so they need to restart OR 2# get a temp ban for the league and can come back next league But that is just me, I know they won't do this oh well |
|
" The ban doesn't matter because the currency was already extracted and probably changed to many hands... This league got hit twice... I don't know anymore.. I don't do temple because I don't care, takes too much time, and yet, I am almost ready for Arbiter hard version, and then, it's waiting for PoE 1 league |

+1 to the ban the exploiters.
Gameplay loops like the holten reset are obviously exploits and anything that can provide help or resources in the endgame that are within campaign should obviously be treated as exploits. The Abyss drops were handled relatively well (only providing the ability to be used on certain item levels) but the temple mechanic needs rethinking if it's going to function as it is currently. You shouldn't be able to farm endgame power in campaign as has been done with the Holten exploit. And while we're on the subject of exploits - being able to have 2 clients open on your PC is also exploit-like behaviour. I don't see any reason why 2 clients should be any more legal than 3+ |
|
" To be fair GGG have handled it poorly. The temples made using Holten should have been deleted, the fix GGG have implemented isn't really fair on other people. By the time the exploiters method was out, people were left in limbo, you couldn't do it yourself as the hotfix would probably be imminent. Preventing new players from doing it while also leaving established temples open just benefits the people who exploited the devs oversight. I dont think anyone should be banned, but GGG definitely hamfisted the fix. |
|
" unfortunately this is how it is in real life. |
|
" They didn't fix it fully cause their on Holiday. I expect when they come back to do what they did with Abyss...which they banned a bunch of accounts. |
