Punish The Exploiters, Reset the League, or Rollback the Gains from those that Abused

I'm not even a big fan or PoE 2 but the moralizing of the temple exploit this league is hilarious. The people that think GGG personally owes them blood because their precious little economic experience has been ruined, boohoo.
There will not be roll backs and there will not be bans. People have been intentionally running low tier maps to set up temple since week one, someone creative enough figured out this can be pushed even further into the campaign with zone resetting. It was a silly oversight by GGG and it happened during the holidays. You aren't owed a roll back or heads on pikes. GGG will hotfix after the holiday and since currency is commodity the market will slowly stabilize as the rate of what's entering decreases while the currency's actual use as crafting material stays the same. In the mean time, farm temple, don't play, or farm things that explicitly cannot drop in temple which will inherently see value increases. Non-temple currency ground loot is effectively dead until a hotfix and it's adapt or die. |

The OP is bright example of an angry jealous poster. They always can't afford something and blaming everyone: botters, exploiters, rmt, whatever it doesn't matter whom exactly they blame, it's everyone except themselves. They truly believe it is someone's fault they get 10d a league. And when they got no one to blame, they are whining straight ahead that item type 1000d worth which they will never be able to possess should be just removed from the game, or nerfed to the ground so it was totally useless.
If they would really want to play they would play the game. I still have no idea what was that exploit and totally don't care. Becasue I am playing the game here. Just playing that's it. And when I want mirrors then I get mirrors after mirrors. It comes with an effort and knowledge. Not with rmt, bot or exploits, stupid OP. This type of angry posting should be forbidden. Millennials think they're owed the ability to exploit without consequences and if you don't exploit then that's on you. As they destroy the games economy. The normal player will just show GGG how they feel by not opening their wallet. Just pissed at my self for buying a supporter pack for this season. Fool me once, never again! But I do feel those that break the rules (which is what they are doing) should be held accountable. CHEATING is NOT OK!! |

Stuff like this is why I have always balked at the idea of player driven economies. It's rarely actually a good thing and no matter the state of exploits tends to gravitate toward being top heavy and impenetrable over time.
So much crying over this, but I thought players would self-regulate, as is so often the mantra regarding the greatness of player driven economies? " I dont even mind the economy i can sell my stuff for more. What annoys me is that Exploits in general are not punished. And no you are not really correct. The economy will stabilize at a higher level yes, but u forget that higher level is the result of an exploit. Which means faster inflation.
