TEXTURES NOT LOADING PoE 2 0.4

Looks like it's fixed. Finally, I can play. Better late than never XD

No, the problem persists. It works fine as long as you don't change regions, but as soon as you enter a city, the textures disappear again. The issue of my 16 GB of VRAM being fully utilized by the game (3 GB) is also still present.

My game has problems loading the texture for water and fog on the Karui village island.

" Same problem here, but I'm on Xbox series X. This is such a huge downer, considering the game runs so much smoother otherwise. |
|
" This is called a memory leak. This happens when a program loads alot of data into RAM and then doesnt clear it when its no longer needed, so every time you load a new map, the game is loading more and more into RAM and not clearing the memory from the last map. Its a very rookie amature mistake THAT THE DEVELOPERS SHOULD FIX. Theres no excuse for memory leaks in 2025 but all amature game developers do it and then claim its our problem. |

But why does this problem only occur in DirectX 12 and not in DirectX 11 or Vulkan? It also only affects PoE2. The maximum memory usage I could see in the graphs was 3.3 GB, with the bar completely filled. When I enable DirectX 11, I see memory usage of 5.7 GB, and the bar is about a third full. The same thing happens with Vulkan. Clearly, something has been programmed into the DirectX 12 interface that limits the VRAM. DirectX 12 doesn't do this automatically.

I tested it. RAM usage was 9GB before gme started. I played for an hour, RAM usage went up to 16gb while the game was running. I closed the game, and the RAM usage was still 16GB. So yeah. thats that.

Is there any additional acknowledgment of this issue from GGG besides the forum comment? The lack of official communication regarding a problem affecting many players leads me to believe it is not a simple issue to resolve. While I am able to play using Vulkan, loading times between areas are excessively long. Unfortunately, my experience with version 0.4 has been very poor, and I continue playing only because of my passion for the game.
