Announcing Path of Exile 2: The Last of the Druids

Druid seems to have a lot going on. Looks great, and the league mechanic looks absolutely brutal. Performance improvements especially for console:)

How have yall still not learned to nerf stuff without destroying it from 6 different angles? This problem exists in poe1; seems we're only getting the bad stuff from Poe1 and non of the good stuff! No speed? No cool talent tree? No cool base skill gems? No cool support gems; and the few that were cool got instantly destroyed by the devs? Like what is going on over there??

Poe2 is too slow still and nothing has been done to fix it and the only class that made the game not feel slow got destroyed. Why does poe2 have to feel so insanely slow compared to poe1; is it no longer an "A-rpg" but just an RPG now? <- would love an actual answer to this question from the devs cuz I feel like we're not communicating on what the game is even suppose to be.

For me if yall release poe2 under a different name; as a game inspired by the poe universe but not trying to be its successor it would have maybe been a cool idea for a different game.
But that right there is the fundamental problem of poe2; it's a VERY DIFFERENT GAME from poe1.. which kinda means it should NOT have gotten the sequel title cuz its just confusing and ruins expectations! Which has been the MAIN form of friction between the 2 communities.
This game is NOT the successor of poe1. Until there is some form of speed in this game they are NOT sequels of each other they are very very different types of games. And maybe yall should consider renaming the game and dropping the "2" part cuz it's simply the cause of unnecessary frustration for no reason at all what so ever other then poor management of expectations!!!

Very disappointed with this patch; No End-game rework is just... wtf? Not gonna work cuz the end game in poe2 leaves a LOT to be desired!!! And I mean a LOT!!
Then the ONLY fun class in Poe2 for me that actually did NOT wanna make me log out was Deadeye.... Well guess what Deadeye = just DEAD now.
Reducing pack size is the literal biggest no no in the book for me the exact opposite needs to happen. I'd rather play the game at 15 fps with major mob density then to have high fps and a empty map; Like the priorities in this game are literally backwards to what they need to be.

This is a very easy league skip for me. I won't be surprised if this league has the worst retention out of all of them so far. I'm not big into puzzles RPG games and with this league, that's what this is becoming. Not only that, but the idea that you spend tons of time configuring all of the rooms and building your temple to get to the end, only to find out that there's a 50% chance that the item you corrupt will be completely bricked. Seriously? 50% chance for all the time you spend? No thank you. I really wanted to give GGG a chance and I thought they might come through on this announcement, but nope. So with the puzzle league and no changes to the endgame, ez skip. For those who do like puzzles though with a high chance of no reward, and only to get frustrated again once you reach the lack of an endgame, well, enjoy your game.

Complete disappointment. No end game changes so we get to play the campaign again for the 100th time and call it a day . But we get to look forward to nerf pack size…..

Druid shape-shifting has such a level of finesse. Keep up the great work GGG
