It was wrong putting caps 75% to Elemental defences by GGG team so they corrected it with ELe Armour defences. It will be the same if putting caps to DPS but i strongly agree that unlimited damage is ruining Vision's meaningful combat.
My idea instead of putting cap is to make health bar of Bosses be adaptable to party's overall DPS. So with this trick whether you play solo or in team you wouldn't kill bosses in few secs even if you play OP build.

You have a point but what about MS? Overall it's not a bad idea but this mechanism needs a lot of work by Devs rather than putting a simple cap. There are many solutions but doing nothing to unlimited damage brings disaster to meaningful... anything!

Put a cap to prevent "Flash Runners" from completing maps in under 30 seconds. Force them to follow the group and share experiences, as well as help the entire group complete all the tasks the map provides.
It doesn't need to buff Debuffs coming from ground effects.
It doesn't need to worry if someone left behind.
It doesn't need complex movement gem combinations that would correct the movement balance.
It doesn't need buffing insane Bosses movement speed.

I would say the solution here is to add boss mechanics and stages, like in many other games, so you can't over-DPS the boss.
If a person decides to play with one click, it's their choice, but for bosses, they will need to follow the rules.

3 Stages for bosses is a good option for not killing Bosses in few sec but in MS GGG should put a cap becouse partying speed gaps are huge and team players even with running mode added lately, still splitting during fast map runs.

this totally defeats the very purpose of an RPG let alone ARPG
What do you think people play these games for its to exploit and become gods.
what they need is more way to do this for more classes simple as that not kill everything more.
every season there will be somthing op and as its ages more and more broken builds as you like to call them become available it is the very nature of these games
you play these game for a few reason but mainly for power trips or story
