Dominus's Abilities Speculations

So with still 4+ months before we get to actually fight Dominus what abilities would you love to see him have?

For me personally I would love to see/fight Dominus if he had the following abilities:

Normal:
Dominus has a much deeper knowledge and understanding on how virtue gems work and is able to use that knowledge to manipulate the virtue gems we are currently using.
AOE ability that can target all group members by causing virtue gems to pulse with incoming power: dmg is lightning based depending on the total number of gems each player has equipped.

Cruel:
Same AOE ability as in normal, but now causes lightning and fire dmg.
New ability gained:
Virtue gem dampening: AOE based ability that can target all group members(in the aoe radius) that will disable the use of any equipped gems for 1.5seconds

Merciless:
Same AOE ability as in normal, but now causes lightning,fire and cold dmg.
Same AOE dampening ability, but effect lasts 3 seconds and now causes a new ability to be gained by Dominus.
New ability gained:
When Dominus successfully uses his Virtue gem dampening ability the energy is displaced into hundreds of virtue gems laying around his room. This causes a virtue gem golem to spawn.
Virtue gem golem abilities:
innate abilities: characters are unable to leech life and mana when attacking the golem.
can spawn with up to 8 random abilities even if they require a specific type of weapon/armor to function(they can use any ability w/o equipment/stat requirement).
there is a internal number of "new" golems that can spawn during the fight. Any golems after this internally set number that are spawned will be considered as resurrected golems in regards to xp/drops.
Golems have a dedicated gem slot(similar to Piety's dedicated map slot) that can drop any skill/support gem and can be preleveled upto level 17 and can be any % of quality.

Maps:
Same AOE ability as in normal, but now the dmg is increased by a % based on the total % of quality of the gems equipped.
Same AOE dampening ability, but effect now lasts 5 seconds and now causes 2 golems to spawn.
Virtue gem golem:
the internal number of "new" golems that can spawned is tied to the number of Dominus that spawn. This way if the map spawns 2 unique mobs the number of "new" golems is doubled.
Golems can spawn with upto 12 random abilities.
gems dropped by golems can now spawn preleveled upto level 20 and they will be a random quality %.

So what abilities would have you slavering at the chance to Fight Dominus?

Dominus is the name of the coming Act 3X boss, the guy Piety is working for. "Virtue Gem" is another term for skill gem.

I can't even guess what skills Dominus might use, but I do suspect it will be an totally insane fight, considering Lunaris and Piety is just a warmup...

Immunity to curses, can summon random other act bosses (maybe weakened a bit), has 1 shot mechanics himself and powerful antimelee attacks. Herp.

Oh, and auras/buffs don't work in the area due to the magical interference or something. Derp.

If I imagine that, it can only get better :P
Dominus is powerless against Bringer of Rain.
He chains flicker strike the entire fight. All he needs to do, no?

Field of desync --

The boss litters the ground with indestructible widgets to block and restrict player movement, maximizing the potential for desync.

Kill on damage taken

The boss casts a buff on himself that will automatically kill any player that damages him during the buff effect. It should cast instantly and unpredictably.


Then just give him a metric assload of hitpoints.

Done deal, a legit, challenging boss fight in the true style of GGG,
Dominating blow.

20% critical chance. On critical, deletes a random party character from the database.
Uses all 3 elements at the same time and uses pietys lightning ball (has fire, light and cold ele now) when it crits it does all 3 statuses at the same time and spawns either 100 burning miscreations, 100 arctic miscreations or 100 tentacle miscreations. The level of QQ could power a whole country.
