Content Update 0.3.0 — Path of Exile 2: The Third Edict
The new Shield Charge feels horrible now.
They nerfed the colision damage from 906% to 217% and with Deepest Tower gone (420% low life damage on tree) it basically feels like i only do 7% of the original damage. And you can't even use it as a travel skill because they added sprint which is better. I rather have the old cooldown back because even if it did had decent damage you can't spam it since now it requires travel distance to get the bonus damage. You can't ping pong with it around distant enemies because enemies body block you so the no cooldown travel distance bonus makes no sense gameplay wise. Huge gameplay nerf. And even without cooldown, the attack animation is so slow that the attack animation might be a cooldown on it's own. Very disappointed with this patch because Shield Charge was the only fun build i liked to play, all the different skills i tried require UNFUN COMBOS that make me want to quit the game. |

I'm still convinced on what's going on with Snap. I'm seeing a description in this content update and a significantly differently description in game. Which one is right exactly?
Description from Content Notes: Cold Snap: Has been reworked, and renamed to Snap. It can now be used on any frozen, shocked or ignited enemy or on a Frostbolt, causing an explosion of the corresponding damage type and creating a remnant of the corresponding type from enemies. This explosion can chain react to a limited extent from enemies hit that are affected by the same ailment. Now deals 48-540 to 72-810 Cold Damage, 2-27 to 46-512 Lightning Damage, or 17-192 to 26-288 Fire Damage at Gem levels 5–20 (previously 70-670 to 105-1005 Cold Damage). Quality now grants 0-10% chance to spawn an additional remnant (previously 0-20% chance to not consume freeze). Cold Explosion now deals 50% more Damage against Unique Enemies. Now has a 4 second Cooldown. Description from Ingame: Consume the elemental energy from a Frozen, shocked or ignited enemy, creating an elemental blast that leaves behind an Infusion Remnant The blast will spread to other enemies affected by the same Ailment, but those blasts cannot spread further. Can also be cast on a frostbolt to create a larger cold blast. 50% more damage with hits for blasts originating from a unique enemy. The bolded text is what's different between the content notes and the actual gem. The mechanic sounds completely different. Which one I should trust exactly? |

Why did you gut ember fusillade... like for what reason not being able to equip multiple of this skill is a huge loss of damage not to mention now anything that creates ember fusillades like dusk vigil will increase the hover duration of different fusillades?????

Please Consider letting us have multiple hotkeys for WASD! For example in other games i'll usually use all the WASD keys plus also using Q [as another left input] and E [as another right input].

Please fix the new auto teleport trade system, add at least 2 mins for the item can be bought and add an option to randomize to whom the item will be sold. maybe put a button to buy the item but it will be randomly sold after 2 mins. or better yet put a bidding option so that the seller will also get a better amount of currency.

Really disappointed GGG. Infusions feel trash, make them like charges, I don't want to double back to a skill that hasn't detonated just to get an Infusion that dosent even feel that great. You literally added checkpoints and sprinting to compensate for this issue but reintroduce it with mediocre Infusion generation and necessitating the need to back track.
Bad look nerfing snap a day before the patch is released to btw. And fireball nerf. I don't get why u launched the major update when it wasnt ready, some ascendancies arent even working. Big promises but you dropped the ball. Hence why 35%+ are playing deadeye. But I guess meeting investor timelines are more important than player satisfaction.(*edit its 40%+ now) Your devlog was a lie. Ill come back next season and if its as bad as this Im just going to uninstall and not look back. I've lost trust in your strategic direction and your killing the fun of the game whenever you can. You can still make the game challenging without making it a second job managing cooldowns, collecting infusions and playing the piano. I was going to swipe but now im not swiping. Cause and effect. You forgot to mention Stomping Ground Support's changes. It no longer scales of Strength, it now scales of 50% of your default attack damage. |
