Async trade has to be a joke right?
While the idea is sound it's so poorly implemented.
Should we just change how trade works?
No lets run two different systems in parallel.
New stash tab.
Still website based.
Normal trades and async trades show in same search.
New NPC to crowd the hideout.
Still have to travel to a hideout.
Have to find NPC in random hideout.
Costs gold to list and purchase.
I don't understand why GGG has to actively make things difficult for the player. It's like you just want to be abusive to your player base. Here's the Faberge Egg you wanted, and then just smash it on the ground.
we might get there but it's easier for them to bring the experience using existing solutions instead of re-inventing item search in game and taking 10x more time.
an auction house wouldnt be that difficult. they are wasting energy and time instead of the true solution. hopefully async works ok, scared botters will spam trades.

Anyone know about this from patch notes? Olroth, Origin of the Fall no longer spawns in Logbooks - does this mean svalinn and olroths resolve life flask was removed from the game?
Also please reconsider the change to turtle charm, 30% damage on blocked attacks is way too much.

I just realized a potential exploit that may just be niche. For async trading you can lock down someone's hideout intentionally by filling up all 24 (i think) visitor slots with bots/alt accs/other people working together so that a person cannot have customers come in and by their stuff for whatever reason they want.
-lock down their hideout so they cant make trades
-to monopolize their market maybe?
This issue will most likely arise on the most prominent traders that sell the ludicrous stuff or maybe because they are popular like a streamer.
Perhaps a way to handle this is make it where x amount of player slots in the hideout are exclusive to traders coming and going and they can only stay for x amount of time? Also giving the hideout owner the ability to ban them maybe?
Its difficult how to imagine properly regulating this predicament completely without harming the experience of other genuine traders.
Just because it is possible though doesnt mean it will happen at all. But dedicated trolls go to quite the extent in my experience lol.
I could see situations where people are staying but not with ill intent and hogging up the lobby slots which ends up preventing traders from joining.
Just a thought.
yea you could just insta join with 24 bot accounts and snipe that 100d item that someone listed for 10c because he missclicked and noone else can buy it, or some script/bot that instantly grabs the item before any human could do it.
i remember in diablo3 the ah was full with scripts/bots that instantly bought misspriced stuff, i had a friend that was just sitting infront of the ah for 10hours a day spamming "refresh" on some random searches trying to instantly snipe misspriced items, he made like 5-10k dollars a month doing that selling gold/items for real money. i was playing the game for 10h a day and i was broke af compared to him, we all know rmt is a thing in poe too, not many ppl talk about it but in the "mirror world" of poe there is LOTS of rmt and with this new change there is ALOT of real money to be made so ppl gonna find/abuse the shit out of it to make real money i hope ggg will do the steps required to shut this kinda stuff down. i hated ah in d3, it destroyed the game (they removed it because it was so bad) so remember that blizzard quote "you think you want it but you dont?" idk i hope im wrong and this kinda stuff wont happen but im worried.

-25% block. Half HP gone with Giant’s Blood. Resolute Technique without guaranteed hits. Zero buffs for Titan. And the league hasn’t even started yet. Feels like I sucked a d%ck through Bluetooth

The changes on Infernalist's demonform dont look that good to me. Only 30% spell damage at 10 stacks with a massive downside looks pretty weak for an ascendancy

This probably affects more players who are more invested in PoE1 but new players or those players who are less emotionally attached to PoE 1 are probably happy to see this patch.
I like this patch btw. I like the offline trade, but hopefully we get to the point where I don't have to alt tab to a web site. But this is good progress.
I don't subscribe to the idea where because MY BUILD got nerfed in the next patch, the game sucks. It sucks for me but that doesn't mean it sucks for the game and everyone.
So I never played POE1, but I’ve really been enjoying my time with POE2. About 90% of that time has been on a Rapid Shot build. I’m fine with nerfs since balance is part of the game, but this didn’t just nerf Rapid Shot, it completely killed any chance of it being a one-button build.
Why does everything have to revolve around combos? I’d be okay if one-button builds were weaker than combo builds, as long as they still remained somewhat viable. Just don’t outright remove the playstyle altogether. Why can’t both exist?
Right now it feels like I’m being forced into the playstyle they want me to use. I wish they would stop pushing so hard toward combos. Just let combos be stronger while still leaving room for one-button builds to be good enough so I can play the way I enjoy.

I think I agree with your point. One click builds should still be allowed but combos should be stronger simply because combos require more work and investment in theory.
On the other hand, I thought this is the direction where PoE 2 is heading. It's all about combos, so not surprised if one click builds are getting nerfed.

wasn't this suppose to be Karui patch/league ? (promoting act 4)
I thought warrior was going to get buffed to OP level just like how amazon was back in dawn of the hunt. what with these less life, less max block, totem required accuracy bc resolute technique got nerfed, also totem 50% less attack speed and shockwave totem even needed other skill to create Jagged Ground to max its damage ? what ?!
That makes no sense. They do not want to recreate the issues of huntress.
I ask did you watch the video? BEcause the elss block has an explanation.. ALL attacks will be blockable now
I played totem Warbringer I know how all hits block works from having 0.2 turtle charm. and I'd say its not enough because even with Svalinn 88% effective block chance I can still dies to some random b*llshit from bosses that can one-shot me. and now you're saying its fine for having 50% max block chance in exchange of giving this passive to every classes ? on top of less life if using Giants blood ? on top of always taken 30% blocked damage if I take new turtle charm for max 75% block ?
oh, and in case you don't know. 50%(40%) max block chance with svalinn is about 64% EB and 75%(65%)=87.75% EB for new turtle charm but will always taken 30% blocked damage all the time and still have chance to taken full damage that can one-shot me dead anyway if not blocked meaning its getting worse not better.
not knowing is truly bliss, I'd say. and now you've known.

Im holding out hope that there is something in the passive tree... but effectively the changes to Rapid Fire are trash.
The heat changes make it seemingly unplayable... why would anyone take a skill that gets a 10sec CD... thats insane.
