Have no interest in starting over in new league

They stuck with the seasonal league mechanic because it’s the lazy way to solve their problems.
Having to restart everything means players spend more time in game. Never having to enforce anti rmt, because resetting economy. All for the “start fresh” excuse. Saw through this 10 years ago with their first game and have never spent $ since. And if they pull this with poe2, I’ll be permanently done with this franchise. |

Let those that enjoy leagues, enjoy their leagues. I won't be playing with them either way. It is very odd that people want to deny access to content to other people who they will never interact with ingame.

" The reason is because exclusivity is the draw to the new content that drives hype for many people to start anew. It also encourages people like yourself who think of it negatively to give it a go. It will be the main thing that brings players back to the game over and over. It is not a bad thing at all. It is the model that made PoE1 last over a decade. " An economy reset is not a "FOMO parlour trick" it is an even ground for all trade players to enjoy, and a new leaderboard to compete on for all of those who competitively play SSF or HC, it is essentially how every ARPG in existence works.
