No, unless there is some significantly major competitor coming, something that have the depth, yet also accommodating enough for casual players (poe1 is really bad at this, get real, it's rare to have a brand new player hooked onto this game).

It will be more and more difficult to incorporate new mechanics, make it in time and get money from supporters. So i don't think Settlers will be the last 1-year league.

Dumb take , PoE has always had ebs and flows , we have good leagues and bad leagues , this is a mediocre league , not as good as Delirium , not as bad as Kalandra .

Between not necessarily being about quality, being only for Steam players, and only concurrent players at launch rather than unique players during (well, Settlers' length is unfair here), the link is becoming a bit tenuous...

Its clear that 3.26 is placed in the bad half of patches to ever go live.
I cant tell the implications in the future. The standard folks is waiting for memory map buffs because the nerfs in currency drops makes them close to a time waste to run and farm except for gold. Sanctum is dead as a currency farm strat. Unless something new pops up that isnt exile farming for currency there isnt much to do this patch. Beserker sucks to play for me now with the missing blitz charges. The fire pen ring Enmitys Embrace was nerfed last second. I still miss the preview tattoo "of the Gauche" which seems it was drop disabled last minute. It is a good tattoo for already lacking shield skills especially the melee shield skills that got zero in patch 3.25 (melee gems buff patch). Overall 3.26 is better than patch 3.15 or archnemesis but not by much. |

" These numbers absolutely do matter. people are done with ggg and poe after the joke ggg has become. poe 2 is also dying already. Poe 1 should have gained 20%+ players after a year of no releases and the new players poe 2 brings over. but people aren't falling for ggg's tricks and shiny poops they present as gold |
