Mirror and RMT - Major Economy Disbalance

Time to make a wholesome move for the sake of the game and either delete mirror from the game, or make it so it can only be used once. Both items get a mirrored tag.

Even major streamers agree with this.

This problem is far more noticeable in poe 2, where 90% of currency is circulated via RMT markets/botfarms/mirroshops.

There should not be an item that brings in infinite currency as it allows for abuse and unfair wealth accumulation.

Can't make my mind up about this.

While the whole idea of copying an item indefinitely is kind of stupid, finding a mirror (I've actually dropped 5) is an amazing feeling. It wouldn't be worth half as much if it wasn't as useful as it is.

No one is going to mirror one of their own items in regular trade league, which is the main balance center of the game. And if you are in possession of a mirror worthy item, it would actually lose value if you let anyone mirror it if we limit the amount of times an item could be mirrored.

So... I don't know. We all know that the mirroring business is filled to the rim with "shady individuals", but to remove the most iconic jackpot drop to "solve" that? Hmmm...

I'm definitely biased but I think they're fine.

It takes an insane amount of currency to craft some of these items and that's not feasible for many people. It's nice to have a selection of gear to mirror for min-maxing. Those who mirror items pay a small fraction of the total cost so mirrors allow more people to make builds with high-end items.

Now, RMT? That's a whole different conversation. However, I don't see that as a reason to eliminate mirrors or change their function.

POE2's economy was torched because of the realms not being separated.

No, you can't use a single mirror more than once. They just meant you can mirror the same item infinitely.
