QOLs BINGO card for Mark
^lol way to double down on how incorrect you are:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wH3l0J75ef4&t=7s First link typing "PoE Bingo" into youtube. You can cross reference literally EVERY OTHER STREAMER bingo card. I checked three others and they all say pretty much the same thing. Variations on "these are things I want to see" PLUS the occasional "These are things I expect to see". There is rarely, if ever, a mention of "winning" the BINGO card because...........that isn't the purpose, nor is it really even possible when its used in a scenario like this. Less than 1 minute in...."Some of these things aren't things I think could be a thing, but what I want to happen" [sic] Always, 100% of the time, these are created by the wants and desires of the user. They DO NOT KNOW what is likely or not likely, and THAT is the primary purpose of these cards. To express their wants, and give them a tangible "thing" to say later "ooh I got 3 things on my bingo card!!!". Some "better made" cards have contradictory squares, but that isn't because they are crafting the card to win......its because they legitimately believe that BOTH outcomes can and might happen. For better or for worse. But if it were created based on "winning".....we would have no BINGO cards in existence. You can't be serious..... hey, here's another: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-KeEQBtCvuI In case you miss the caption: PoE 3.25 predictions/wishlist (keyword: WISHLIST). The more experienced the player, the more accurate their BINGO card will be in terms of "Likelihood" but that is NOT, I repeat NOT, the focus of the card. It has never been the focus of self-made bingo cards such as these. It takes very little thought to understand why it literally CAN'T be the focus. " Wrong. Again. Even with the blatant goalpost move, you're still wrong. I know everyone's search history is slightly different because of their own specific Google algorithm but even if we pretended for a second that we had no idea what bingo was and how to play it, when I Google "what makes one bingo card better than another?" The answer I get is "One that is likely to win." Which is pretty much common sense, and exactly the answer you'd expect to get if you were familiar with the game. So, given that your position is demonstrably at odds with reality, what do you want to do now? Edit/addendum: it was pointed out to me that this phrase is literally in the dictionary now, so... there you go. I guess. Last edited by ARealLifeCaribbeanPirate#2605 on May 19, 2025, 11:20:28 AM

go ahead, die on your hill, I'm not fighting it anymore after this.
When you have videos of the best and most influential social presences telling you WORD FOR WORD what the BINGO card is, and how it is akin to a wishlist.....and you say its not....there's nowhere to go. You apparently don't want to listen or acknowledge the folks most widely responsible for creating the PoE BINGO cards in the first place. But okay, sure....now you accuse ME of moving the goalposts. And ignoring reality. "You don't put things you want on the cards. You put things you think will happen." -your words This. Is. Not. True. As seen by the ACTUAL existing PoE Bingo Cards. And their creators, AND their literal words describing how they created their cards. Starting anew....with PoE 2 Last edited by cowmoo275#3095 on May 19, 2025, 11:30:00 AM

How can a random player propose a list of desired quality-of-life changes to GGG? Do we have to collect data and create an entitlement before requesting?
Do you have suggestions for easy changes that can improve gameplay? BSG Escape from Tarkov has a platform to propose changes, and developers have to interact with community input, which is called tarkov.community should GGG have something similar? |

" The word "easy" is sort of loaded there, because a lot of the most important QoL changes I can think of wouldn't necessarily be easy to implement but I don't think that makes them any less important. Things like making all stackable splinter-type currency get collected within an AoE with a single click are probably not easy at all to do, but would immediately make the difference between me running and not running certain content. Putting an interface inside of the game to interact with the trade website certainly wouldn't be easy, but saving players the hassle of alt-tabbing every time they want to trade is something that needed to happen five or six years ago. I think the focus shouldn't be on how hard a change is to make, because at the end of the day making the change is literally someone's job. As for a platform to propose changes, you're looking at it. That's literally what this section of the forum is for, but if you feel like you need a GGG response your best bet is to try and get enough of the community together to organize a live Question and Answer session with one of the lead devs. But it's always worth remembering that no response IS a response. " Good call. When you find yourself making the "words don't mean what the dictionary says they mean" argument it's usually long past time to walk away. |
