I am level 98 and I dont think ill ever get to level 100 which is ok.. its meant to be an accomplishment and I consider it cosmetic. My dad might though just because hes a rarity bot and built super tough.

I can "probably" get to level 100 by using XP tablets on towers however I like loot more lol. Let the people have their gratification. There is a few of them but I think its fair.

However what one person mentioned was to disable passive points after 90 which is a cool idea then it will be truly cosmetic but it dont bother me. There should be some challenge to getting to level 100. Not everyone deserves level 100, lets not just hand it out. its a awesome wow factor.

xp penalty makes it so that only strong builds can naturally achieve levels 98-100 and that makes it so that high levels are a badge and a reward for strong characters.

If anything, I would go buff xp gains at level 95+ way.


XP penalty makes it so anyone over lvl 90 loses several hours of XP already earned on death. It's a horrible design to have the penalty on top of monster lvl capped at 80.

Raising the map tiers or enemy lvl ensures you still need a good build while while not overly punishing players for an occasional death.

that.. losing the xp of the MAP where you died is OK. Losing the XP you had before you entered the map is very bad design.

For the people wanting no penalty, just simply consider lv 90 the max level and then after that it's extra levels you optionally get if you overcome a challenge. As in other games where getting to max level is guaranteed for everyone but there is a different mechanic to give you a little bit of incremental power that you don't really need.


But the max is 100 and I get character progression for that. Cap level at 90 then.

The majority of players seem to disagree with you.

There are many reasons to change this clearly outdated,bad game design. This is an objective fact.
Except that people get frustrated still much earlier than the 90's level because of it and drop the game. So many do not even TRY the 4th trial with fear of losing XP
