A Simple Poll - Exp Loss on Death
" You admitted a single death in a dozen maps or so will bring you down lower than you started. If you don't think 10% is too much, then you're saying it's good design to take away all the XP from a dozen maps from a single death. Dying once every dozen maps is not a build or skill issue, sometimes the unbalanced game in early access puts you in situations that almost guarantee death, unless you are using a broken meta build with ridiculously priced meta gear. In other words, you're getting punished by losing hours of XP for not trivializing the content The skill points beyond 90-92 are not irrelevant, they are important to a lot of people. If you don't care about them fine. Last edited by qQbonmjtAZ#7824 on May 17, 2025, 12:46:06 PM

" No. I literally said it will NOT bring you lower than where you started. Also, I'm not even close to dying once in a dozen maps. L2read. L2play. |

" You literally said if you have an omen active a death every dozen won't bring you down lower. That implies not having the omen would bring you down lower. L2communicate I don't really care if you don't die once every dozen maps. Suggesting that someone in the 90s needs to learn to play, because of 1 death in 12 maps, is about as ignorant and elitist as one can get. Last edited by qQbonmjtAZ#7824 on May 17, 2025, 1:20:26 PM

" What I've gathered from the responses here so far is that people want to play a weak/experimental build AND that they want to do it at a high level AND that they might be under-geared AND that they don't want to use omens AND that they want to play while "zoning out." Like, at some point even the most casual observer will have to realize that EXP loss is not the issue here. Secondly, you're implying that reaching lvl 90 means the player is performing at a high level, knows what they are doing at all times, knows what to look for in all fights and how to dodge properly, etc. That's not the case. As I said earlier, reaching lvl 90 is pretty breezy. Before that, the EXP loss is barely noticeable. Simply a bit of grinding will get you there, no skill needed. Which is exactly why EXP loss in its current form is necessary. Without it, reaching max level would be just as easy. All it would take is time. That would defeat the entire purpose of a ladder. A wise man told me becareful what you wish for.
GGG have a habit which goes back years of giving and taking away. E.g. You want exp loss removed, OK sure but now you get even less exp per mob. "See we gave you what you wanted" POE 1 players should be more listened too, they know GGG more than others and have experienced this constantly through out the years. P.S
