" I'm sorry, but your comment now is the first butthurt comment I see. The rest is just people disagreeing with you, which should be totally OK on a discussion forum. And if you think that the campaign is "99%" of the game, you've clearly never played PoE1. Let me also drag some numbers out of my butt: 99% of players don't care about the campaign or its bosses. They just want to rush through it as fast as possible to get to the fun stuff. The acts are boring, which is inevitable after several years of playing the same game. Harder bosses wouldn't change that. |

I mean just for a random example, some guy accused me of gatekeeping his bug reports because he couldn't comprehend that I was politely hinting that he was seeing an issue where there was none. Incidentally same guy would get upset feeling like his bug reports weren't getting any traction or responses and when he started volunteering to do tech support instead of "gentle" sarcasm and mild annoyance he went way past the line and just got rude and abrasive well beyond necessary, especially ironic given he was hardly an expert to begin with. Yep, totally over league play.

" He may not care anymore, but lets be honest. I don't think the last two voidstones are time\currency gated. Not quite anyway. While I can still technically do what's needed in standard with my established characters, its definitely far harder than when it was just sirus and co. Maven is not a fun fight for me, mainly from having to do both the minigame and still manage dropping the degen relatively safely - Last time I did it my explosive arrow totems would stay up after death (not anymore) though I could probably spec something into an ee based something or other. But both her and exarch I generally plan to beat by dying and waiting out certain phases, and I've done searing arch deathless at least once. Its just so strange how I can recognize there are so many players more skilled than I am and yet you get players like the OP who convince themselves they've done most of the game when they've really just made it barely past tutorial phase. Op doesn't know the challenge of getting to 100, or just how much work goes into 36+, but is brimming with confidence all the same. Now as far as the 2 voidstones, my level 96 is there right now, except I'm aware that she doesn't do enough damage and I'd have to entirely respec or play something else. There's definitely a time sink given all the guardians and map completions for the frags required (or buying if not ssf), but based on my uber atziri failure, uber elder would probably fail too if I managed to make it to final phase given her low damage. I mean maybe its always been like this but why is it so hard for people to accept truth when the only person on this journey\race is yourself =p Yep, totally over league play.

If we play through basically without "crafting" including character equipment by using random stuffs, the one who get trivialized would be the player side.
So in theory, "trivialized bosses" exists to counter this phenomenon. Everything I do should be wrong so please correct me if I do it right <3

See you have it backwards.
No mob hit points. The players need another nerf pass. See when a boss has 1000 hit points, and 3 classes dp 40,000 points damage. The solution is to nerf the 3 , not give the boss 100000000 hit points. Nerf the stupid classes. Hummm lets see .... flicker strike changed to hits 5 targets in fast succession . then has a 1.5 second cool down. Bosses are doing exactly what they are meant to do. They die. |
