Volatile plants visibility.

I have provided you with my stats:

2.284 health, 945 ES, 16% damage taken from mana, 23% chaos res.

1 volatile plant is instant death, every time, and always has been.
"

Well, then I don't believe the claim that it takes three orbs to kill you. Because those are my stats (+the chaos dmg reduction with Smith of Kitava ascendency) and one orb takes 80% of my health.

Here ya go:

I eat 2 volatiles on purpose around 18 seconds in. At 40 i get stuck and eat 4 to the face because i was running away from them (the wrong thing to do). Pretty sure only 2 did damage to me though cause i lived.

Also need to make 1 correction, i have 100 more es and 400 more hp than i remembered. 900/4600 total. but never go below 800 hp even after eating 2 volatiles. and that 800hp = 1.6k ES when its chaos dmg. it really does take 3 to kill me.

sorry for the poor quality video, was trying the built in steam recording thing.

Thanks for the vid. Fair enough, but I think the volatile plants in ritual are not as strong as the normal ones. I could be wrong - I didn't find any source on that. But I do also better in ritual dealing with them.
I swear 50% of my deaths are some random volatile plant that spawned off screen crawling up on me behind the cover of walls and nuking me down while I have some Item on my cursor. Just now again.
It's kinda funny how I run maps like this all the time, no issue, but a single random invisible volatile plant oneshots me if I stay still for one second to pick an item up.

Think you might be right about the ritual ones being different. Haven't been able to eat 1 isolated volatile from a rare mob yet, but their visual is different. So far testing non-ritual volatiles has only shown that 3 stacked together is 100% death.

Oh I can help you with that. Just kill the rare before it can spawn any on screen, before you can even read it's modifiers. It will probably have spawned one off screen which will use cover to stay invisible and hunt you down.
The good point of doing life-base char and capped chaos resist is, even when you don't see them and eat a couple of volatiles, you usually hit low life and Omen of Resurgence kick you back full life. It saved my hardcore a$$ more than once...

It is almost impossible to do in a hybrid build, as your life amount usually is tiny and you would have to be lucky to reach lowlife.

... get chaos res.

My video proves it works.

Well thank you for continuously bumping my feedback towards the developers with your irrelevant comments.

I for one do not believe that the game should have invisible and silent instant death hazards in every content, that the player can only hope to survive after playing for >1000 hours and getting equipment worth several divines in each slot.

And for reference my gear is already worth several divines, just not *enough divines*.
