Speaking of attack speed, Thunderfist gives 10 IAS, while a well-rolled yellow gives 15-16 IAS.

Hmm, most Rangers are already complaining that Lightning Thorns is too crazy to deal with. I don't see why they would forgo hp, armour and res for more DPS.

And in lategame maps with ele weakness/-max res/lightning thorns, most of the times sustainability triumphs everything else.

Your pair of gloves would be really godly if the last mod was changed to a high res. Of course looking at your gear, since you don't use Kaoms I'm sure you aren't someone who likes HP a lot, so I'm sure you will also forgo that +80 HP on your current gloves for thunderfist :D


i understand your point , but i didnt feel like i am dying or should have say not says not easy to die. i am willing to give up some life for mass damage.

ya, i try to roll a with 80+ life and 13+ gloves with element damage which cost me over 200 chaos and tons of alternation still cannot roll that. so i give up .

How much HP do you have currently? And how much HP would you lose if you used Thunderfist? What is your all resistance in a -max res map? I know I can calculate from your gear but yeah.

They're very very good gloves.

As for the 'discussion' in this this thread, nobody is even bothering to try and define what 'overpowered' means. Overpowered where, in what situations? HC, default? PvP, PvE? Lvling to 100 or farming wealth?




As for map mods, it's not like you can't switch your damn gloves for certain mods.

Do you mean bullshit as in unuseful or do you mean bullshit as in completely broken? Because neither Thunderfists or Abyssus match the description you give them.

Really, it it you who should be more careful with your posting, lest you look like any more of a chump. The same can be said of the opening poster.

I can assure you GGG has a process for designing uniques and it does not constitute pulling effects out of a hat and hoping they aren't too powerful in conjunction with one another.

Both Abyssus and Thunderfists are high end items and come with draw backs. If you are going to whine about uniques, you should start with Kaom's Heart and Lioneye's glare.
