POE2 has strict Authoritarian Builds, diversity isn't possible BY DESIGN. RIP Buildcrafting.
" This is a fair argument, but it's not one against PoE2 or GGG - it's an argument against the Early Access model. EA was created specifically to allow developers to release unfinished products. EA isn't a Beta or even an Alpha, it's "come play this game we're working on that might not even ever release." There's a lot of reason to be skeptical of this model and I entirely understand people who refuse to pay for EA games but at this point the model has been around long enough that if you do buy into an EA you need to accept the terms. " It's not just valid - it's expected. It's the whole reason we're doing this. But at this point GGG isn't going to benefit from (or even listen to) feedback that boils down to "this feature is dogshit." Most features are to some degree dogshit right now because the game isn't done. You need to have a little more foresight and give feedback that's constructive and forward-looking. The truth is "builds are imbalanced" is about the least interesting feedback they could possibly be getting right now because obviously they f'ing know builds are imbalanced. They don't need us to tell them that. They can see who is playing what classes and using what skills. A thousand posts a day telling them that LS is overpowered are never going to positively impact the game because they knew that they day after 0.2 dropped and I'm sure LS is going to look very different in 0.3 just like the broken builds from 0.1 did in 0.2. Also, just for fun here's my very much not "strictly authoritarian" build killing a T15 +2 boss in under 3 seconds: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2brpskkOWNg Last edited by Kerchunk#7797 on May 3, 2025, 11:52:49 PM
